I like that years after buying them they are still of the same quality. I don't like how heavy they are, but I think that's because I'm getting weaker as I get older. He turned 50 and things get heavier.I try and organize by color of tubs, depending on the type of packing I am doing, and it would be nice to have another color and often the only color available is gray.Recommending Brute tubs does come easy because they tend to wear out crack never. Mostlyafter you are tired of them and want something new just because period they don't wear out. I have yet to put them to the tests due to weather conditions I usually pack a waterproof stuff sack for the things that are critically important and the rest can get a little wet. I'm going to be in Colorado this summer and I will see how all of my Rubbermaid tubs in green, blue, and gray will respond to the freezing temperatures versus my desert storage unit and garage for a decade.From what I can tell so far they are pliable and semi rigid.

Old-school Sterlite enduser here, but unfortunately Sterlite doesn't make anything robust enough anymore so I've crossed over to the Rubbermaid Commercial BRUTE Totes: Medium 14-Gallons (56-Quart), and Large 20-Gallons (80-Quart) they come in nice neutral colors such as White, Gray, and Green. Both size Totes with Lids are stackable with each other. They're very heavy-duty, as they should be for the BRUTE name! The BRUTE Totes are food-grade safe, which is important. I like the White for the interior of the house, also with the White interior color you can see what your contents are in a darkly lit space. The Gray a perfect for the garage and tool storage. Rubbermaid also makes a Green color, which would be excellent for outdoor usage. I would also like to see a Clear-Frosted color as well in the BRUTE product color lineup so you could see the interior contents. But unfortunately, Rubbermaid does NOT market these products at all and they should because they're great. They are an older design, so I would like to see them more sleeker and more ergonomically re-designed, including the lids plastic snap-on mechanism could be re-designed to function better. Also would love to see additional sizes such as a Small, and perhaps different shapes. The sharp handles jet-out, so you can't put the storage bins next to each other sideways in a tight space. I could never find these tote bins at my local big box stores. They were always very hard to get.I highly recommend the Rubbermaid Commercial BRUTE Totes! But wish they were much more readily available to purchase. I don't always need a expensive case of 6 in the same size.NOTE: To Rubbermaid Commercial Division regarding the box with a case of 6, the top and bottom of the box should have interior cardboard bumpers to protect the box during shipment so the expensive storage bins don't arrive damaged.

Strong, solid bins with strong & easy accessible handles making it easy to carry while also keeping your items clean & secure. The lids are very secure. I am concerned about the bins being stackable especially over a period of time, however, it is not a big or jumbo bin so I think it will do a good job. I have 4 of these; I’m using one to store china, one for crystal, one for memorabilia & one for figurines that I intend to pass on to my sons, dtr.-in-law & grandchildren. I will be ordering more.

I like this container cause it's strong and easy to store items that you don't want laying around and the lid is automatically snapped locked also it's stackability is nice and firm not like many other containers that are stackable but weak and bulging.

The headline says it all. It's large, waterproof, sturdy and I leave it at my gate for pkge deliveries so books and such don't get soaked on wet days as has happened in the past. However, the very tight fitting lid is not easy to get off with arthritic hands.

I was storing birdseed on a shelf in my garage for refilling my bird feeders, but suddenly I started finding mouse droppings all around the bags. I needed something secure in which to store the birdseed where it wouldn't attract critters, and this seemed perfect for the job. The size was exactly what I needed, and it seals securely. Now that they can't get to the seed so easily, the mice have moved on.

These are great bins. I previously used the gray versions of these that are larger, and they were awesome as well. I have used them for various tasks even including to move large amounts of water when I needed to transport something that had to stay wet in transport, and they held up well even to that stress. The plastic is thick and the lids stay on fairly securely though they are not watertight. These make great long-term storage and they're also a helpful way to move things from place to place.

I've always bought Rubbermaid storage tubs and after buying a few cheaper brands, I went back to Rubbermaid as the others cracked on me. I was looking for white to brighten up my basement storage area and realized white, is few and far between. These may be a bit expensive than most for storage but, the quality can't be beat. Picking them up is of ease with the handles also.
