Works well at getting a toothpick. I hate trying to get them out of the box.They come in , never stay shut . Now they stay in the jar and stay clean.

So cool, I bought two.
All these years I've been digging for toothpicks out of a flimsy little box in my kitchen utility drawer. This little glass retro-looking dispenser is perfect. Just shake and a toothpick or two pops out of the little hole on the top lid.... just as if I was sitting in a City Diner from 50 years ago.

Adorable n' Vintage-like
This is a cute vintage like design with vibes of ol' diner sugar or straws dispenser. Comes with wooden toothpicks. The few little holes on top to shake out tooth pick work fine. If purchasing refill toothpicks, select smallest kind like those it comes with (ie, no flat shape or cocktail frill) unless you plan on unscrewing lid. Highly recommend this adorable dispenser.
