Warm Audio WA-251 Tube Condenser Microphone

Definitely a pricier mic but with that being said, it is well worth the money. You get exactly what you are paying for from the mic aesthetic to the mic function. I would obsoletely recommend.

Silky, smooth vocals. Exactly what I wanted. The shock mount was garbage and would not hold up the microphone, get a different shockmount to protect your investment

The media could not be loaded. Holy mackerel ! This microphone is so good. Seriously, it's the real deal. It's a bargain at double the price, but fortunately you don't have to worry 'bout that. I'm an old Beatle-head, and my whole life I've been Jonesing for a Neumann 47 type of mic like that. This is not that, but WTH it's pretty damn close. Look, you can throw any kind of wail at this baby and it will deliver you gold butter ! What I mean is it is that it will work for any genre. I'm sure the other WA mics are equally as good. I just might have to buy another one or two, and I would still have cash-ola left over. What a winner the 251 is, and it even looks the part, too ! BTW on another note: there's been some social media bits about the shock mount: ignore them...trust me, it's all rubbish--the shock mount is just fine, and the mic is not going to fall through. If someone kicks it over well... but honestly it's locked in there pretty darn good. Warm Audio 251 is a bona fide classic that is probably the greatest vocal mic since the U47, or Telefunken Ela M 251E. It's a win win for any studio. Enjoy !
