Bella Gluten-Free Pizza Dough, Rolls & Focaccia Mix (Pack of 4)

I tried this as bread sticks and it was fine for that but it wouldn't make a great pizza crust. It was thin and a bit heavy. I guess since I was a fan of pan pizza crusts before going gluten free, this one just didn't impress me.

This makes two crusts. The trick is to do the yeast properly with warm sugared water. Then allow the dough to raise. then precook the crust. 10 minutes at 380 pull it out oil it a bit with some good olive oil cook the crust a second time for 10 more minutes.. we use a stone and a special pan with holes in it. once you do this the crust should stay crisp. We add sauce cheese and veggies cook it 10 more minutes and it is outstanding.

I cannot believe this is gluten-free! The pizza dough you can make with this mix is even more delicious than any regular pizza, and I don't even need to eat gluten-free. The crust is dense, yet flaky, full of flavor and has amazing texture. The other day I popped this crust in the oven with only olive oil, salt and oregano and it was incredible. Thanks Bella for bringing such joy to my pallet!

This mix is incredible. It make two large REAL TASTING pizza crust, or two focaccia. It also makes hamburger buns that double as an awesome sandwich rolls. Whatever way you bake it, this mix is a winner with its Italian flavor and real breadlike texture. A must to have in the pantry.

Makes good Pizza Crust even at altitude. 7500ft.They use this mix in a couple local Pizza joints in Boulder. Pizzeria Basta and BOP. Which of course they wouldn't if it wasn't good. :-)

Like the Bella's Gluten-free All-Purpose Baking Mix, when you make this dough you won't believe it is gluten-free. It tastes incredible. Hands down the best gluten-free pizza crust I've ever had. I'll never use another one again.
