excellent for bath
i bought this so i can make sure my bath is a good temp bc my apartment water temperature is super variable. i dropped it inside the bath with salt in it several times, it messed up the battery but the thermometer still works : )

Good
Works fine but really have to press reset button hard to make it reset. I thought it was broken at first. I wish probe cable was 6ft so I could place this on the table instead of having to stick this on the wall. Updates temperature quickly and accurately.

Used to maintain chiller water
This product is great for me to maintain chiller temperature for my CO2 laser. Good size display is easy to read from the other side of the room and seems to be very accurate.

Many uses. Works anywhere
Believe it or not, I needed a way to check the temperature of the oil in my race car. I looked and looked for something that would fit down the dipstick tube. Everything was either to fat or too short, and it had to be waterproof. Well this digital thermometer is all of that. I was amazed when I slid the sensor end into my dipstick tube and it fit, and more amazed when I pushed the chord in and it went right in until the sensor was sitting in oil and measuring the temp to a tenth of a degree. Great product.

temperature reads 2.1 degrees high
I bought this to check the air temperature coming out of my air conditioning vents. However, Before I did that I let it sit overnight to come up to room temperature. Then I checked it against A Mercury thermometer, Which is accurate to .01 degrees. It read 2.1 degrees too warm. there does not appear to be any way to calibrate it, Other than that it is a useful little instrument.

Good but not perfect
Like others have said the temperature seems always to be 2 degrees off, but in general I think it is a good product.
