You'll discover: The Power of Negative Thinking Three simple tools for getting your sh*t together How to focus on the essential sh*t to get ahead at work How to spend less and save more Ways to manage anxiety, avoid avoidance, and conquer your fear of failure And tons of other awesome sh*t! Get the most out of getting your sh*t together with the Get Your Sh*t Together Journal . Review: Good Sh*t, Tough Sh*t - After spending my second month being functionally homeless, living somewhere between a series of guest rooms and my car, I splurged on a last minute trip back home to smoosh my neice's face. I was casually sipping my airport margarita and passing through the bookstore, when I made eye contact with "Get Your Sh*t Together" for the first time. My first reaction was to yell "don't tell me what to do!" and clutch my boozy sippy cup to my chest. But the subtitle won me over. I *do* kinda wanna do stuff... I read the first 100 pages before I got to my parents' house. That sh*t sounded easy. I have that sh*t together. I love my job, my emails are brief, I know how long it takes me to shower and shave (8-12 minutes, depending on my vertical cut-off point). That night, I tore into the tough sh*t. And let me tell you, it is some tough sh*t. Money? Relationships? Achk. DONT MAKE ME DO THIS, SARAH. But I kept reading. Because, c'mon. You spent $20 dollars on this thing. It's just a book. Who raised you? So I stayed up until about 3:00 am. Most of that spent reading, but at least an hour spent staring at the ceiling fan and thinking about page 160. I finished the book on my flight back to my current "home" this morning. Between the time spent with my family and reading this book, this weekend has been life changing. I am going into the next few weeks knowing that I can get sh*t done, as long as I break it down into manageable pieces. Step, by step. Moving toward what's best for me, so I can finally get my sh*t together. -Alvin (with a strong Simon rising) Review: Excellent - Fun & Helpful - This book is a great resource for people who aren't quite in need of mental health care but still need a little life support. Easy to read. Humorous and helpful. Recommended to purchase the journal to help you stay on task and get more from the book!

Good Sh*t, Tough Sh*t
After spending my second month being functionally homeless, living somewhere between a series of guest rooms and my car, I splurged on a last minute trip back home to smoosh my neice's face. Motivation Overhaul
I enjoy Sarah's teaching style. This is the third book of hers that I've read, and I'm committed to continuing this series. While reading, I made some significant life decisions and felt more confident in having tough conversations. Overall, this has been a great opportunity for a motivation overhaul.

Short and straight to the point!
This is the first book I read from this amazing writer. I love the way she transmits the message, funny as F$*# LOL, straight to the point without messing around or using soft words to not hurt feeling. If you know that you need to get your sh#$t together you are not expecting a soft word. You need a Hell of scream to wake up and this is the book for that but laughing tons during your personal transformation totally recommended.

But she's like one of those people you can call you ugly ...
Shot straight from the hip, no holds barred. But she's like one of those people you can call you ugly and you like her anyway. Doesn't preach, doesn't present herself as holier-than-thou (doncha hate that??) but more like a big sister who decides to take you aside (by the scruff of your shirt!) and give you the what-for how-come speech that mom overlooked. I laughed out loud several times, even when I none too sheepishly recognized myself as guilty in her analogies. One con, to me anyhow. Sometimes, using expletives provides the jar or shock to get someones attention or make a point. In my opinion, it's overused, in this book and her others. After awhile, I stopped hearing the content, and began muttering under my breath..."Okay, be done now, not lending to your point here." Still, I think it's well worth the read. I also believe this is the best of her three books.

10 Stars
Wish I could give this 10 stars! I loved her first book, and love this one even more. I particularly benefited from "lobby for your hobbies", which is something I always struggled to do. My favorite imagery was when she suggested that if you are someone motivated by money to envision Scrooge McDuck rolling around in loot because I remember being 4 years old and being fascinated by that scene. On top of that, there's references to Who's the Boss and Alvin and the Chipmunks - which entirely speak to my childhood. Once again, I lover her advice because she straight up tells you, if you don't like it, you don't have to do it. When discussing several strategies for getting a difficult chore done, she finally says at the end "Is this sh*t worth it to you or not? If not, go ahead and cross it off your list. Whatever, no skin off my teeth". I will read anything she writes.... anything.

DONT BUY DIGITAL COPY
If you buy this book for a class DO NOT buy it digitally. The chapter names aren't the same as the paper copy and without chapter numbers on Kindle it's impossible to use this to read up on my assignments and have ended up borrowing a classmates. Absolute waste of money if that is your intent.

Unfocused and disorganized? Need a push in the right direction? Then this is for you!
This is the first book I've read by this author and I LOVED it. But I do love this kind of in-your-face, quit-ur-b*tchen advice. She is funny and right on. Loved that this is practical, easy to read and follow. Do what Knight says and at least you can say you're focused and moving (hopefully forward). Highly recommend to anyone who needs a kick in the pants and help to organize your life.

A Life Road Map For Everyone
I bought this book as a gift for one of my grown children who was at a crossroad in his life. Before I gave it to him, I read a bit and I was hooked.Ms. Knight has a very entertaining "voice" and this book is packed with a step-by-step program of how to stop floundering in unhappiness and identify your real goals - those that have been on your life's wish list - and how to realistic go after them and attain them. I loved this book so much, I kept it for myself (*blush) and ordered three more to gift to each of my grown children, who in turn, all reported that they found it to be a great motivational as well as entertaining read. Highly recommended!

Esta padre el mensaje principal de la escritora
Super bueno el libro & lo que comparte la escritora con sus lectores. Me encanto! Llego en menos tiempo de lo esperado. El único pero, es que me llego un poco sucio, como si lo hubieran tenido fuera de empaque por algunas semanas..... pero lo limpie lo mejor que pude & el contenido es lo importante.

I got my s**t together
