Oprah Winfrey: The Life, Lessons & Rules for Success Paperback – February 8, 2018

An amazing book on the life of Oprah Winfrey, her struggles from her childhood to her rise as the queen of talk shows. I love the author's works and I have read various other books by the same author. Throughout the book you feel like the personalities involved have been thoroughly researched and the presentation is flawless.I also love how the author includes quotes and lessons that we can learn from the subject. Needless to say, this book exceeded my expectations and made for a good read to personally develop as an individual and learn more about successful individuals around us.

This was a quick and easy read. The book summarized Oprah’s early childhood leading up to her life as a media mogul. Many of the details in the book we’ve heard Oprah share on her show and in interviews. However; I particularly, loved chapter 7, “Rules for Success”. I plan on utilizing the recommended apps and practicing the wisdom shared in this book to achieve inner peace and remind myself to really stay alive and present in the moment. A great book and very inspiring.

I purchased the book thinking Oprah herself wrote it. I still don’t see the author’s name although I searched for it. I’m kind of lost as to who to give credit to. My apologies I’m advance. Overall, very insightful. There were a few things I did not know.

Nothing is wiser than learning from successful people. Wisdom is gained by experience and provides crib notes for living. I've followed Oprah for most of my adult life. I am forever grateful she brought the topics from the underbelly of humanity to center stage. I wonder how many lives were saved by her presence.

I have always admired Oprah and her honest open conversations during her talk show days. This book provide inspiration for my life as well as a deeper look at Oprah and her accomplishments.

She never gave up despite her origins.She may have been born into poverty,But she was blessed with many special talents put intoHer mind. As Oprah developed her path led her to chancesThat allowed the hidden gifts in Oprah ; to help her navigate around hills and valleys of challenges.

If you are interested in rules for success skip to the end. Mostly this is a biography. Interesting, but title is misleading. Liked little known facts.

This was an easy to follow and well researched book. It brings to light what a fascinating and inspiring woman Oprah truly is. I highly recommend this book to anyone needing a "push" in life.
