Fisher-Price Fisher - Price Ni Hao, Kai Lan Tolee's Treehouse

My daughter LOVED this and still plays with it! Everything comes just as you see it, and as promised.As you might imagine by looking at the picture--and experience with buying such toys for youngsters--this is not made of durable plastic and must be handled as such. If your child is really rough with toys, I wouldn't suggest this, as the plastic swinging part and/or the sliding bucket pieces could easily be broken.My daughter has had this for almost two years and the bottom unit still exists and functions. (The top pieces have long been pulled off and lost.) She is almost five and still likes to play with "Little People" and still incorporates this into her play time.

This was purchased back in 2009 when the cost was $22 and it was fine for its time, but I don't think I could pay $30 for it, which is the current price as I write this. There's no fancy lights or sounds, or even many parts to it. It's cute if your child absolutely loves the character, but I think it is overpriced for what it is.

I got this for my girls (ages 2 and 4) and like the other reviewers stated, it's not very durable. The pole with the bucket is forever coming unhooked, which is not something that can be remedied with superglue, otherwise the Treehouse won't be able to close.HOWEVER, they aren't getting too frustrated by this. My 2 year old is, but the 4 year old is getting the hang of sticking the pole back in place and over-all they're getting a lot of play out of it. For AMAZON'S price, I'd recommend picking it up for ages 4+, however I cannot find this toy cheaper than $19.99 on sale in the store, and it's not durable enough of a toy for me to justify forking over that much money on.

Let me start out by saying that when I purchased this toy, I had relatively low expectations. Fisher-Price makes some great quality toys - their Little People products, for example, are very well-made, durable, and creative - but their licensed playsets have really been lacking in recent years. I can only assume that the licensing fees they have to pay to Nick Jr are so high that they don't have money left to spend on good materials. But anyway, even though I pretty much expected this playset to have a few problems, I figured we'd give it a try, as it just seemed so cute and we really wanted figures of Kai Lan and Tolee in their regular clothes.Theoretically, this playset has so much for Kai Lan and Tolee to do... little ladders to climb, an elevator to travel up and down, a bed to sleep in, and even a suspended bucket to ride in. But my daughter couldn't actually do any of that, because pieces keep coming off! The poles that hold the string for the suspended bucket popped off for the first time literally two minutes after we had this out of the box, and the ladder and trapdoor by the elevator didn't take much longer to detach. Very disappointing, even by my lowered standards, and definitely not a purchase I'd make again.

My almost 2 year old LOVES Ni Hao Kai Lan and this is by far her very favorite gift of the year! Hope they make more sets from Ni Hao Kai Lan!

This toy is fun & durable. It's exactly what it looks like & it has two figurines. My daughter loves it! I am really happy we got it.
