No more smooshed fingers!
I installed these in my classroom Sept 2024. All year I’ve had complete peace of mind. Very easy to install and the adhesive has lasted. If you’re a teacher or mom concerned about your kids sticking their fingers in the door jam, this is an excellent choice!

Hands down. Buy them.
I wish these were more well known! I would've paid literally anything to prevent the accident that happened to my 2 year old.His thumb was nearly amputated by a door hinge while we were playing peek-a-boo and getting ready to go to the park. After two different ED visits, immediate surgery, and months inside a cast- they were able to reattach it and his thumb looks good as new. Thankfully!These guards are now installed on every door in our house. Front and back. They are super easy to apply and the matte version is hardly noticeable on my white, wooden doors. These have been on for months now and show no signs of coming off. They are also pretty thick!The only thing that may bother someone is that they pull on the door a little so the door doesn't stay open ALL the way.After our accident, I literally have zero complaints about these though. Buy the guards. Protect those tiny fingers. The guards are significantly cheaper than the hospital bills and the trauma that comes with it all. Worst. Day. Ever.

Easy and effective
I bought this for my front door to keep my cats paws from the door hinges. Works perfectly and our cat keeps his paws from getting slammed in the door! Super easy to install and stays put after sticking. I left it on all night to secure like the instructions suggest.

Six months later, still a fantastic purchase
Our cat had an awful habit of trying to put her fingers through the gap in the door. There was a close call. We bought this, installed it (incredibly easy, by the way!), and have had peace of mind for the last six months. The adhesive holding it on has not weakened, and the product itself is showing no signs of wear. I definitely recommend this product.

Adhesive is not strong enough
No matter how much pressure is applied or product was adjusted it would not stick. I believe it’s due to the hard plastic being curled up in the box for so long that the plastic wants to curl back up pulling away from the door and wall. Maybe a softer, more flexible plastic will allow for the adhesive to set.

Quality material but needs screws to attach
I'm impressed with the quality of the material, and it was easy to install, instructions are included. But as I expected, the tape didn't hold more than a day so I screwed one side into the door frame and the other to the door - a couple of holes are better than broken toddler fingers. It's thick so it puts up a resistance when the door closes, so I always have to remember to pull it closed. A little annoying, but not a big deal. I'd buy it again.
