Easy use Earplugs
Must have for women or anyone in general with smaller ears. I have struggled with other earplugs not fitting properly due to the size and these fit so well! They are the easiest ones to get into the ear and not struggle to get the foam to compress and fit. There are soft enough to not cause pain when sleeping but stay in the ear well. Effective at cutting out most noises. I highly recommend for anyone who needs a pair of earplugs that are comfy to sleep in and cut out smaller and more irritating noises.

Nothing beats these
I have been purchasing these macks slim fits for myself and my boyfriend for over a year now. We love these earplugs, we've tried dupes to try to save money but you can't beat these. PROS: They're high quality, they stay in when sleeping, block most noise, but still allow us to wake up to our alarms! Theyre small enough that we don't wake up with sore ears CONS: they usually stay in through the whole night, but sometimes we wake up with one missing. Overall they are life savers!! We wouldn't be okay without these little purple foam earplugs

Effective product
So here I'am living in a small apartament and my neighbors can be quite noisy. Down, some young people love to have fun at any time: sometimes it is their loud TV set, sometimes it is their loud gaming set, other times it is just loud laughing and screaming even after midnight. One of the girls living there like to loudly express how much she likes having sex with her boyfriend (that can be very disgusting; it is not my business to know it, after all). In the upper apartment a fat woman frequently reacts to those kids antics by smashing doors or dragging forniture like hell. I'm suspicious the fat neighbor thinks the riots happen at my place so I imagine she tries to give me some kind of "lesson" or something (dealing with her has proved to be nasty business in the past, so I don't want to do it again and the brats have just laughed at my face once so go figure if I want anything with them again). Well, that's terrible specially when wee hours. So I gave it a try these earplugs. Must say I'm quite impressed. Are soft, easy to use and fit pretty well into my ears (just make sure you follow instructions for better results). The noise reduction is very good for what I've seen lasts two weeks. When those undesirable neighbors (up or down) have been jerks again, I have been able to fall asleep to complete rest after fitting a coupla earplugs into my ears. Well, I guess now I'll try those Mack's NRR 32 dB. At least while I get the money to move away from my apartment ruined by the noisy kids and the fat-in-high-heels noisy woman. Don't expect miracles: remember that when people want to bother, there is no earplug in the world against that.

By far my favorite between this, pink (Dreamgirl) and beige (standard)
I am very sensitive to noise when I sleep: snoring, upstairs neighbors, noise from outside, etc, so foam earplugs are a necessity because nothing else even comes close to working (silicone ear "plugs" don't work at all, I find). I have tried pretty much EVERY earplug brand and type on the market because my ears are VERY sensitive and I often find that my ears hurt when I put them in, or halfway in the night / towards the morning. First of all let's start that in my personal experience, all of Mack's earplugs are far better than any other brand I tried-- the foam material is much softer, easier to put in, and as a whole Mack's will cause less pain than any other brand. However the 3 Mack's earplugs are NOT equal. The standard beige one, while again better in my experience than any other brand, will cause discomfort most nights at some point; if there is NO other choice, I would use these. Next, by far better, are the pink "dreamgirls" earplugs, but these STILL caused me discomfort, let's say 25% of the time. I lived with this for many years for lack of a better option. The newest addition are these purple slim ones, which are MUCH less painful / discomforting than the pink ones; they are not any shorter than the pink ones, but are a bit smaller in diameter, and that makes all the difference. They work JUST as well blocking sound as the other brands (which means pretty good; earplugs are not, and cannot, be perfect). Last but not least, there is no earplug brand I've EVER used where you can reliably use a pair for more than one full night; the foam seems to degrade in quality after being under pressure, so the second time you use them they will block a lot less noise. This applies to ALL earplugs, including Mack's purple, or any other. TLDR; earplugs are a necessity for people like me, they inherently suck, but this one (Mack's purple) are by FAR the best from all brands, and trust me, I've tried them all. Like all ear plugs, they won't block all noise ever, and they are very disposable: a single pair is for one night at max effectiveness.

Follow the instructions
These earplugs are amazing!! I'm a night shift worker and sometimes I struggle with sleeping during the day, especially on days that they are mowing the lawn in my apartment complex or just other family members moving about in the house. So a coworker suggested earplugs but I knew I needed to find ones that for small/ sensitive ears. So I researched and found these. They work!! I've been able to sleep like a baby. I would say they block out about 90% of noise, but its imperative to follow the instructions so that you're putting them in correctly. They don't slip out my ears. If you have small ears, definitely try these. I recommend 100%

For very narrow ear canals only
To the one struggling to decide which ear plugs to get, I hope this helps. I spent hours, if not days, researching ear plugs on Amazon. I ended up with 8 different ones because, well, I’m indecisive. Many of these didn’t work for me due to my own weird ear anatomy but I wanted to give my experience with each and what I’d recommend given your situation. Everything is subjective, but I hope this helps someone else as the previous reviews helped me. I’ll put my quick summary first and the details after for those wanting more info. *The pink ear plug is an average run-of-the-mill ear plug for size comparison. To summarize: If you have shorter ear canals and more sensitive ears I would recommend Mack’s Thermafit, adult/kids silicone ear plugs, or Hearos Softstar foam. If you have average ear canals and want the most noise blocking I would get Howard Leight. If you prefer contoured earplugs and find them to be the most comfortable then get Flents Protech Contour. If you have very narrow (but not short) ear canals, then get Mack’s slim fit or Flents Protech Sleeping. White Hearos Softstar foam: These ear plugs are wider than most but shorter and the foam is very soft. They are comfortable and didn’t hurt my ears, even when laying on my side. The foam is so light and fluffy though it lets in more noise than other ear plugs. If comfort is most important to you, you’re a side sleeper, and you don’t need complete silence, these are for you. Tan Mack’s Thermafit: This was the last pack of ear plugs I ordered to try and I finally found the right ones for me. The foam expands more quickly and is a bit rougher texture than others but once you get it in your ear it is just as comfortable at the Hearos and blocks as much (if not more) noise as Howard Leights and silicone. If you have short ear canals, want something comfortable that blocks out the most noise, try Mack’s thermafit. Purple Mack’s Slim fit: I have somewhat smaller ear canals but these were too narrow for me. They didn’t block any sound and despite them being thin, they are still long. If you have very narrow ear canals that are an average length, these would be a good choice for you. Dark Green Howard Leight low pressure: Howard Leights are soft and I found that they blocked out the most sound out of all the ear plugs I tried. They are a bit long for my ears but I just have short ear canals. If you have average ear canals and want the most noise blocking ear plugs, I would recommend these. Light Green Flents Protech Contour: I like contour ear plugs because my ears are sensitive. These are pretty large ear plugs and not the best for those with small ears. They were the best price of all the earplugs I tried. If you have average-larger ear canals, are a side sleeper, or prefer contoured ear plugs, these are for you. Blue/White Flents Protech Sleeping: I thought these would be my Goldilocks ear plugs after I liked the regular Protech contour ones but found them to be too big. Well these were way too small. They fit in my ears easily but don’t block any noise, much like the slimfits. I can still hear the clock ticking, the traffic, my dog snoring everything. I’m so bummed! If you have tiny (and I mean tiny) ears and like the contoured foam, I would get these. Mack’s silicone ear plugs (orange kids and clear regular): As someone who generally hates having things deep in my ears, silicone ear plugs sounded like the way to go. I found the clear ones to be huge and I was having to cut them in half so I ended up getting the kids size. They are comfortable and are good for side sleeping. They also block out a lot of noise. My issue with these is that they tend to suction to your ear which is uncomfortable and you can hear your heart beating in your ears. I think it’s something you can get use to though. If you hate foam/regular ear plugs, have small or sensitive ears, and want to still block a lot of noise, I’d try these. Of all the ones I tried, I found Mack’s Theramfit to be the best all around. Happy sleeping!

Recommended!!!
These are my favorite earplugs for sleeping next to my snowing partner. Yes, you need to replace them often (weekly or so). The container is large and the price is right to allow for this. No pain or discomfort when I sleep on my side. Recommended!

Best earplugs I've ever used
I have used several different earplugs for sleeping, but the Mack's earplugs are the best. Other earplugs may start out feeling okay, but after a while they become uncomfortable. Mack's feel comfortable throughout the night and are great at blocking noise.

Comfortable, Stay Put, and Block Noise Brilliantly
These are by far the most comfortable earplugs I’ve used. The slim design fits my ears really well, they stay in place throughout the night, and they do an excellent job of muffling sound without being uncomfortable. They’re perfect for sleeping and have made a huge difference in blocking out noisy neighbours and traffic outside. The large tub is great value for money and should last a long time. I usually reuse each pair for a couple of days before replacing them once they become dirty or have built up earwax. Overall, a fantastic product that I use regularly and would happily recommend to anyone looking for comfortable, effective earplugs.
