Maine Clambake

This is omg so good. The flavor is great and it's very easy to make. You just pop it in the oven. The flavor is good. It's garlic-y with a hint of lemon and butter. The price is good and you get quite a bit for the value. I also really like the shipping and the customer service. I highly recommend.

First off, the clambake was a Birthday gift for my Mom in the midwest. I researched unique gifts and chose this on Amazon for $109.37 shipped. Mom calls me on her birthday to thank me for the Costco gift. I thought perhaps she confused my unique gift with that of another, so I questioned her a little. "Oh, it has two lobster tails and other seafood with potatoes" was her reply.Don't get me wrong, I like Costco. But this is so not okay. And btw, Costco sells the same thing for $69.99 delivered! [...]If I want something unique and special, I'm not going to shop at Costco. Also, the actual Amazon seller is "Trade Deals" which is even more confusing. I filed a complaint and they offered a 10% refund without providing an apology or explanation.I'm really disappointed, and slightly embarrassed that my Mom's unique and special B'day gift was packaged and shipped from Costco. I spent a great deal of time researching a nice gift for her, and there is nothing special or unique with a Clambake from Costco.

Easy to prepare, this was a nice meal. The potatoes were excellent and the clams and mussels were tender and delicious, but the shrimp and lobster were somewhat disappointing, being tougher and less flavorful than I anticipated. The lemon-butter sauce was a bit lemony for my taste.I could prepare a slightly better quality meal for less money from fresh ingredients if they were easily available, but the convenience and quality of this package are certainly worthwhile. I would buy it again, and probably will.

It was a birthday gift for my Daughter and she hasn't cooked it yet. Hopefully it will be wonderful and she will enjoy it

I had food ordered through the mail before and I never had such a delicious meal in my life. I will order from you again with no doubts. I was a little afraid in the begining but Im so happy that I went throught with the order. If you want an romantic dinner for two this is the way to go. follow the instructions to the tee and you will not be sorry.
