Dragonfly Products Bully Sticks for Dogs & Puppies, Air-Dried Beef Pizzle

Since initially buying these chews for our nine year old Cockapoo, I’ve watched the very engaging Laura from Dragonfly Products and agree with every single claim she made about pizzles. Our dog absolutely LOVES them, and it’s undoubtedly the most engrossing, long-lasting chew on the market. The origin of a pizzle was unknown to me, but Laura enlightened us with humour and panache, and it’s certainly not hide which has been proved to be harmful to our pet’s gut! I’ll perhaps ration them more rigidly as they are not for the diet conscious pooch but used as a weekly treat. They are THE best chew we’ve ever found, and the quality is obvious. P.S. We purchased a not inexpensive, robust, bully stick holder that controls how much your dog eats, which was a revelation. We won’t go anywhere for bully sticks or pizzles ever again. These lasts forever for our Staffie pup, and he absolutely loves them. It takes him about 2 days to chew through one stick, which is just amazing value for money. No sugar coating: this doesn't smell nice and after a little chewing it gets a bit slimy and icky so you do not want this on the furniture. He will luckily opt to chew outside if weather allows, but lately it's been quite gloomy so he is chewing inside and it's at times unpleasant but we'll manage as long as it keeps him busy and happy.

Rarely leave reviews bit just wanted to say overall impressed with my first order of 10. They work out slightly over £2 a pop - but they are biggest of these I’ve seen in a while both in length and thickness. Couple are on the thin side (hence only 4 stars). Happy dog this evening. I freeze mine - makes them last longer 👀 I will order again and am keeping fingers crossed the value doesn’t deteriorate the way other repeat orders have done with other suppliers. Shall report back!!

I rarely write reviews but felt I had to this time! Our 18 week old pup absolutely loves these, they last a long time and they are great value for money. They have absolutely changed things for us as we have quite a bitey pup who gets very easily bored with other chews such as yak cheese or split antlers. But, he will chew these pizzle sticks for as long as we let him so it really does make life easier when we want some peace and quiet!

Had bought from this buyer multiple times before and pizzles were what I would expect. Decided to up the amount so bought 3 packs of THICK pizzles. Unfortunately I am very disappointed with what was sent. The THICK pizzles were the thinnest pizzles I have bought. They seem to have a fatter end and twig like length. The dogly still likes them. Although they don’t last as long. They have an extremely strong smell to them and are a strange colour nearly black in some of them. I will give the company the benefit of the doubt and buy one more time because hopefully they will read this review and amend their product to be as described which it had been…..

I rated the scent a 5 out of 5 purely because the dog goes mad for them! To me they smell very fishy and would be 0 out of 5 for smell so I keep them in a lock tight bag! They last our spaniel a good 40 minutes and she loves them

I have bought these pizzles plenty of times and they are great but the last batch had one pizzle with a nail firmly wedged in it. Please check them before giving to your dog!
