Worked great on night hike up Mt St Helens
We did a moonlight hike up Mt St Helens and the light from this headlamp was excellent. The variety of settings was reassuring so we could make sure we didn't run out of battery. The brightest settings were great for seeing where we needed to go. The red light was excellent for when we got into the full moonlight and just needed a little bit of light without adding shadows to the path.I'm only giving this three stars because the housing on the headlamp, as others have mentioned, is quite flimsy. My wife ordered this and she is much more gentle with her things so it will last longer for her. If I had it, I'd break it within my first summer of trips. When opening the casing to install batteries I had to stop myself from using force because I could feel that I'd break it if I did. I got a tool and gently released the latch. The bevel adjuster is also pretty cheap feeling and could easily be broken if not being careful when adjusting.My older Black Diamond Storm headlamp is much sturdier and has lasted me many seasons. However, the new light bulbs in these new lamps is making me think about replacing my old trusty light. I would not replace it with the Spot 325 because I need something a bit more durable but I would definitely would get one of the Black Diamond headlamps with a burlier casing.

Love It
I took to the Peruvian Amazon, and was really really happy with it! My favorite was the ability to find spiders (soooo many amazing spiders!) in the jungle, but I kept with me at night when I didn't have quick access to other light forms, and could use to read, find things etc. It also was comfortable, easy to switch between types of light and turn on and off- something that I have found frustrating with other headlamps. The light was really good in all three modes, and I am really happy that I bought it.

Battery muncher
Lightweight, bright enough but not amazing. It’s a little rough on the batteries. I’m hoping the quality of it makes up for having to bring extra batteries for a trip longer than a couple nights. Fingers crossed for a long life!

i mostly use this headlamp when I take walks after dark. It is plenty bright and light and easy to adjust.

Great head torch for all genders
Great product. Used on the Inca Trail when it got dark and we still had a few hundred meters to descend. The different beams are very useful as is the lock function.But, I'm not sure why it's listed on here as "Men's" as this is irrelevant to the product, and if you look on the manufacturer's website there is no mention of gender. Unfortunately, this seems to be the case with many kit items for outdoor adventures...So, regardless of what gender you identify with, this product is great to light your adventures and is probably the best price around on here!

La verdad es que me ha sorprendido este frontal!!Buscaba un frontal para llevar a barrancos en caso de emergencia, por lo que tenía que ser impermeable. Tras probar otras marcas como Petzl Tikka Pro y ver que les entraba agua, decidí arriesgarme con este.El frontal es muy muy completo. Trae: - certificación IPX8, ideal para utilizar en el agua - 2 luces led blancas, regulables ambas en intensidad y con gran potencia.
