Good Whilst it lasted
The product did its job for the 3 weeks that it worked for...Now I get no screen output at random, with about a 1/2 chance that it'll regain output when unplugged and re-plugged. Plugging it into different computers/screens yields the same results, with certain combinations resulting in weird artifacting and worse dropouts.All in all, pay the extras fiver and get one from a brand you've heard of before, It'll be worth it in the long run.

Lasted 6 months
This product was exactly what I needed for 6 months, until it broke. Unexpectedly it was fine one hour, and then just stopped working the next. For some reason the connection must have randomly gone in the space of a day. So it is a good short term purchase, but unless I got unlucky, they don't last long. The seller's return window is just 3 months, meaning that I now have to buy a brand new one.

Stream videos and more onto a big screen. An absolute ESSENTIAL!
How did we live without these adapter before? Ok, we all have smart TVs at home and can just fligck whatever we want to watch, be it YouTube , Netflix or Prime from our phones onto a bigger screen, but when in a hotel? Or elsewhere without a smart TV? We are currently on holiday and with all the rain outside, this is what saved the day, or better say our holiDAY, as I can use my phone and my data ( no WiFi available) to stream onto the tele in here. The best device ever! Like ever!

Not good
The built quality is good but it's a pain in the ass to use. I use it as a Dex dock for my Note 9 and it seams to be something wrong with the dongle because sometimes flickering happens and sometimes the sound is choppy so I have disconnect and reconnect to make it work properly, and not to mention that sometimes it's stops working completely, no image and no sound. It seemed promising but it wasn't.

Use Switch power adapter
Did exactly what it said for converting my switch to tv,I thought it wasn’t working tho I had to use the switch power source in the end + turn the input the other way if not working at first

Not worth the hassle
In theory this is easy to use but reality, it cannot be easy to use if it overheats and breaks in a week...Using it with all other official Nintendo wires, but mine over heated and broke. Firstly sound went leaving only picture to be transmitted and intermittent. Then the picture went, and then it went in the bin.Save your money, buy as official Nintendo dock
