Genuine Subaru Oil Filter
This filter is the flat 4 turbo engine filter, it fits the likes of the WRX, the STi, Forrester Impreza etc. Quite simply put, you should never trust an after market oil filter on these engines. Only the Original Subaru filter will do. Why? Well these engines suffer from bottom end trouble if abused and unloved. Big end knock on a WRX or STI is a commonly known sound. SO do not take chances. Original part and Fully Synthetic oil of 10w 40 grade oil. Personally I use Shell Helix Ultra, and Subaru say change it every 3750 miles if your car encounters excessive hard driving. So stock up on these filters and look after your engine, because its cheaper than a replacement one ! And I must admit, this is a good price for an original part. Watch the video ! Good product.
I'm happy to say I'm pleased with this purchase and have been in the past every time I bought this Subaru oil filter for my Forester. It arrived nicely wrapped and sealed in a tight plastic wrap which I appreciate. Great product.

Good but expensive. Worth it if in a pinch, IMO.
A bit on the expensive side, but I really needed it and didn’t want to drive around my city trying to find one. It truly is a replacement for the old part number 15208AA12A. My car runs an EJ208. (Equivalent to an 02 WRX, but has been single swapped, and Frankensteined back together.)
