Our puppy loves this toothpaste. He genuinely gets excited when he sees us putting it onto the toothbrush. He starts to lick it off the brush first and then we gradually start to brush his teeth and gums. We do it every night, and we notice that it significantly improves the smell of his breath. It’s amazing honestly. Glad we found this (recommended by our vet) and we will keep using for sure.

I wish the toothpaste was sealed but it wasn’t. It was fresh and fine in the kit with the brush and finger thing toothbrush is much weaker than it used to be. I have my old dog’s brush and the new one. My 10wk old puppy nearly destroyed the new one on 2min of chomping to get used to toothbrushing. But she loves the flavor. I’ve had 5 dogs use this product (the toothpaste— NOT the gel!) for over 13 years with great teeth. Rawhide chews and soup bones help so much y vet said my dogs had the nicest teeth she’s ever seen of all her patients in all her years. Recommended but use the finger thing with caution at first they will chomp it to get used to the feeling of toothbrushing for awhile u til they’ll sit for a brush.

I use this toothpaste and short end of toothbrush on my Chihuahua every single night before bed. Her oral health has stopped deteriorating. Prior to this product I used gave her high quality chews, nightly (still do) but tarter & bad breath progressed, anyway. I suggest brushing your dogs teeth as it will significantly lower canine dental bills. My girl has a beautiful healthy mouth, today from this product including breath breath - always & gum recession, redness, gone.

We adopted a feral cat from a shelter about a year ago. We took her to a vet for a complete check up and she needed the tartar removed from her teeth. It was way more expensive than getting my teeth cleaned so we went online to Amazon and decided on "Virbac C.E.T. Oral Hygiene Kit for Cats and Dogs". First, you never really get a feral cats complete trust. My Husband squirted some of the paste on the finger brush and attempted to get it near her teeth. It's been a few weeks now and our cat loves the taste and consistency of the poultry flavored paste so while she's busy licking it off the finger brush, my Husband brushes what tooth surfaces he can get to. This is an Enzymatic Toothpaste with 30,000 ratings. Our cat has had zero issues with it, she loves the stuff. We are going to keep using this and see what the vet says on her next check up!

This is VOHC certified, so I bought it for my cats. However, two of them hate the poultry flavor, and the other one thinks it’s fine in a pinch if I’m really not going to give him Churu. The bristles seem a bit stiff for a cat mouth, and the bigger side is obviously way too big for a cat. I’m just trying to slowly acclimate them to brushing teeth right now, so I’m using the small side of the toothbrush for one of my cats and got children’s toothbrushes from Publix for the other two cats. Honestly, the children’s toothbrushes seem a little bit better. The bristles are just the tiniest bit softer and the shape is small enough for their mouths. I successfully got one of my cats chewing on the bristles of the kids toothbrush after one session, but I had to put a little bit of Churu onto it to encourage her because she had no interest in the poultry-flavored toothpaste.However, my dog thought the toothpaste was great, and the big side of the toothbrush was perfect for him. He did excellent with brushing teeth for his first time. Could be fine for a dog, but probably wouldn’t go for this for a cat.
