Wonderful staple for many kitchen recipes
Lipton has created a wonderful mix for many uses with their Onion Mushroom soup. I love to use it in addition to my beef broth in the stews and roasts I make. A browned chuck roast with the addition of this mix and a can of cream of mushroom soup, wrapped tightly in foil, placed on a baking sheet and baked slowly at 300 for four hours makes for a delicious tender dinner. Many mixes have such a fake bullion taste but I find that this particular mix doesn't leave that shuddering after taste when used in conjunction with other ingredients. Simply wonderful when mixed with ground beef for hamburgers and grill. I also am addicted to just making a pan of it to use as a soup. I like to keep a jar of it in the refrigerator ready to go when I want a hot drink to curb my appetite. A cup only figures out to 1 WW point as it has no Trans fat or sugars. I limit myself to only 1 or 1/2 cup a day as it is quite high in sodium but the half cup does the trick in chasing off the hunger pangs. I find it one of those indispensable pantry stockers and my local grocers does not always carry it. The price here on Amazon is quite competitive.

Can’t find this locally
I ordered this because I use it in place of plain onion soup mix. Seems like a lot to order but I prefer this onion mushroom to plain onion soup mix. I make a meatloaf, for example, with 1 lb of meat versus the two in the recipe. This tames the taste.

Verified! 12 Boxes w/2 Packets in Each Box
Just received my order of the Lipton Onion Mushroom Recipe Secrets, and can confirm my box was for 12 boxes with 2 packets inside each (so 24 total). I received them on 5/31/25 and the expiration date is in February, 2026. I use these for a slow cooked chuck roast. I mix one of these dry onion soup packets with a can of beef broth and 2 cans golden mushroom soup and pour over a large (browned) chuck roast and slow cook on low for 12 hours. Served with mashed potatoes, it tastes fantastic!

Been using this product exclusively for 55 years to make my own chip did - that says it all!
Been using this dry soup mix exclusively for 55 years to make my own chip dip. Just add the entire packet to 1 pint of sour cream...mix thoroughly...nothing else required...the taste is fabulous. I tried other brands but none of them work as well as Lipton. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
