I needed a good solid piece of tooling leather to create a barrier between the top edge of my magazines and my side. The sharp edges were very uncomfortable and this leather was the perfect fix. I cut the leather so that it creates a barrier between me and the edge of the mazines I carry on my belt and this did the trick perfectly. It might look a little odd but considering it is under my shirt no one can really see my modifications.

Cost to much money for a 12x 12 piece of leather, however I have no choose I can't find this cheaper, not yet anyway. great quality wet forms just right , very good product, I will continue to purchase from here until I can buy it cheaper.

THICK leather that is very durable, my piece had a gouge that was right in the middle. I'd assume that most of them are not like that. I made holster out of mine so no one should see the gouge. No gouge = 5 stars.

Exact dimensions as described, flawless cut, perfect for my projects (small armor pieces with brass plates). Also SMELLS GREAT. No nasty tanning chemical smell. Perfect for wet molding & hammering designs, and takes colors in evenly. Looks amazing after oiling. Very durable after project is done. I will definitely be buying more from this tannery/seller for my future projects!

Actually 10oz leather. Calipers show it at 4+mm. Making it too thick (for me) for sheaths for small (7-8.5 inch) fixed blade knives.

I was unable to use this leather due to its thickness, but I make earrings and it’s my fault for not paying closer attention to the description. If you’re looking for a thicker veg tan leather, this product is worth every penny! The only thing I didn’t like what how it was delivered. Every other leather sheet I have ordered was delivered flat, and This one was deliver red rolled up which ended with the leather sheet having a permenant bend to it, and that it the reason I gave 4/5 stars on value for money.

Looks like blood veins running all through the 2 pieces I got today. Not very happy with this leather. Will not buy again.

this leather is perfect for use as a leather strop to sharpen knives, chisels, etc... it's thick, no serious imperfections... i cut mine into 6 two inch strips, and made 3 double sided strops with various compounds and i'm ordering another one right now to make another 3. i don't know how good it is for use as a belt or gun holster or whatever, but for strops, this a value you can't beat. well - at least not that i've been able to find!
