I have used lots of these actuators over a few years. I have never had a failure yet. So I would highly recommend them.

Super powerful, smooth and amazing value.
Really convincing bit of kit: no 'slack' in it at all and it seems to be completely unstoppable. I got this to just open and close a cold frame, but to be honest it feels like you could lift the corner of the house up with it.

I have had two of these fail now, I took the last one apart to see why and found rust inside the motor cogs, these things are not waterproof as shown in the photos. Avoid

Using this on my snowblower chute on my tractor to change the up-down angle, worked great. Mounted motor end up to keep water out.
