My (up til now) secret ingredient. Umami bomb. Though I add it to scrambles, stir fries, potatoes, sheet pan meals, marinades, etc., I especially like it for soups and stews. It adds a lot of depth to bean broth. Feels like a shortcut for building rich flavors. It is salty so cut back on the amount of salt you would ordinarily use in recipes.

We love this for our steaks, whether grilling out, or searing in coconut oil or avocado oil, it really compliments the beef.

Yes this has salt in it, however you get good flavor added in place of just salt. We have used this as an alternative in place of salt when doing the (salt and pepper) personalized food seasonings. My wife primarily avoids anything with mushrooms, but she really likes the flavor of this seasoning!

Just remember this has salt so consider this in your recipe

Absolutely yummy! Have been using this for years now. If you want that umami flavor, this is it. Look no further! Great for a homemade cream of mushroom as well!

Love this stuff! It’s very versatile and goes well in almost any dish. I most often use it in one pot meals like soups or stews to add dimension! It’s a little more expensive than other spice blends but considering that it’s made of dried mushrooms that makes sense and it’s well worth it! Delicious. One of my favorite things in the spice drawer!

This is my cooking "secret" I use in pasta sauce, and this makes the best seasoning for pork chops or tenderloin, along with steak. It adds just the right amount of salt and umami and it is an essential for my kitchen.
