No feet. Sits flat on any surface

Q: Does the underside look nice? Could I turn it upside down to use as a stand?

This is my office, which I have not been to since March. But if memory serves, yes the bottom is definitely finished and looks the same.

Q: Can this be used as a food tray?

I think it is meant to be decorative. I used it for xmas candles.
