Not groundable as advertised, died powering a 200 watt fridge
Ran a warning buzzer on shutdown from first use. Used with a 150-200 watt fridge (1/10th the 2000 watt continuous capacity) with my offgrid solar setup. Even then, after about half a month, one day it popped a red light and could not restart/reset, even with not a single fuse blown. And, yes, I did use recommended wiring plus an external fuse. And this is the second 2000 watt reliable inverter I have bought with the same issue. I was also given an e-mail from Reliable saying if only if I wrote a good review for my dead inverter they would replace the unit for free. Very sketchy. I replaced it with a 1000 watt $100 Powerexpress inverter (half the capacity) and that inverter, despite being far simpler, is doing fine running the fridge with absolutely no faults and grounds properly (tested with a ground-sensing power strip). If you need an inverter to run anything with a compressor (small A/C, fridge, etc.) even an extremely low watt unit, look elsewhere. It will apparently work for an initial week or so but burn out quickly after that.
