C411PP Vibration Pickup for Stringed Instruments - XLR Microphone

Excellent Product. Bought after several review, no regret.

Sound quality, pick up and usage is very good. This is a condenser microphone. so we cannot connect to amplifier or mixer without Phantom Power Supply. I bought a Studiomaster Phantom Power Supply in Chennai for Rs. 2100.

Works well. I use it for my sitar. Frequency response is good. It is an active pickup, so it needs Phantom power to work. Downsides are that you have this tape to glue it that is only sufficient for removing and putting it back a few times. Also the wire is very thin, so I am a little worried that slight mishandling may damage it. I also found it picking up hum from 50Hz mains, but I feel that is partially the fault of my mixer because it does not have an earth connection. And although not a big deal, but the pouch supplied with it is too small to fit the XLR Jack. As far as the things that matter are concerned, no complaints.

One of the best and most affordable pick-up microphones. I'm using it on my sitar and it sounds just great. Picks the slightest of the vibrations. Don't forget to buy a phantom power adapter for your mic. It's useless without a phantom power adapter.

The quality of the Mic reasonable, but the quality of the wire is extremely pathetic I’m afraid to do the small moments as well because of this tinner wire the length could have been increase a bit more, so we can avoid to have a lot of extra extension cables Overall, I don’t think so. It is worth for the price.

Very happy with this mic so far. I use it on a hand pan drum. I would have liked the cable to be a bit thicker though as it looks like it could be easily damaged if something gets accidently placed on top of it like a chair leg, keyboard stand leg or flight case. Especially being black on a dark stage you might not notice until it's too late. I understand they need to be lightweight for attachment to string instruments and such but any lightweight cable trailing on a stage floor is asking for trouble. Perhaps they could offer two versions - a lightweight cable and a heavy duty cable.

Amazing mic! I used it for Kanoun, it captured all the range and now I can hear myself with a lousy band.

El producto posiblemente sea bueno pero no me funcionó en el Handpan, tenía mucho problema con la tierra y ruido en los 60Hz. Tuve que devolverlo porque no era útil en esa situación, posiblemente en instrumentos de madera no haya problema.

Works beyond what I expected. As long as you have the right set up, it’s crazy what you can hear.
