Excellent fan at a worthwhile price. After I had put it up I went out of room for a second, when I came back I turned it on. It came on, then went off for a few seconds, then back on but slower, then went faster etc etc. I thought it was a loose plug, but no. Then panicked it was a loose wire in the fan itself so was going to return it. My daughter says, i pressed the 'mode' button dad. I pressed it again and it worked perfectly. Turns out it has a mode that simulates real wind, which is to a say it altered speed and goes on and off occasionally. I use that mode most of the time now. This is an excellent fan which was very easy to install. Just don't panic if it goes off, check the mode. Also has timer and oscillates if required. Nice little remote that works well. Definitely recommended

This fan is great, having it wall mounted means it can stay up and out of the way all the time rather than moving it away from our little one's reach. The remote is convenient too.

Works well, mounted on wall gives more coverage than other types. Remote is handy.

I use this fan in the bedroom and it is quite powerful even at low speed ( 3 speeds available ). It is about 6ft up the wall and about 6ft from the bed, still very good. The amazon picture shows it with a bolt to allow head movement up and down, there is no bolt but the head is moved up and down by pulling. It did feel a bit weak but it is doable. When the fan arrived, I had to refer back to the seller who responded very quickly and with a good answer to my problem ( moving the head up and down ). All in all, a good fan and a good seller, although, having had it only a month, I cannot speak as to its reliability and life yet.

The media could not be loaded. Will not angle up or down so unless you mount it at chest height or it's more than 8m away ( the remote only works up to 8m) then it's not going to be any use. Such a shame as it looks a great item, but unusable for me.UpdateThe seller said it would pull up and down. I pulled so hard that now all wires are showing. Perhaps I got a dodgy product.

I bought this for my sons room to keep cool during the hotter months and without the worry of him getting to the blades, this does the job and not too noisy as I can still hear him overnight with the baby monitor less than a metre away from the fan. Only thing is the power lead could be a little longer.

I bought this fan for my boot room/ dog’s bedroom. Simple operation and fantastic to have the timer. Great to have up on the wall out of the way of dogs and children. Just what I needed for the hot weather.

I really like this fan, all the features are there: the remote works well and has all the functions you'll need, it beeps to confirm each button press, the swing covers a good angle, I don't really use the modes (normal, natural/sleep, which pulse the fan speed), a timer if you want it to automatically switch off after 0.5hr, 1hr, 2hr or 4hr.However the reliability of the fan is in question, mine stopped working after about 9 months, I use it a few times a week for a couple of hours at a go. When I switched it on all the control LED lights came on and it beeped but no fan. I contacted the seller, Digitronic Essex Ltd, and they advised me to return it to them (minus the fan blades and guard cage to make it easier to post) at my cost, which was about £4, and they would repair/replace it. I was a bit sceptical, but within a week, they had returned a new unit to me, I have to say, although the fan broke, I'm really pleased with the service provided by Digitronic.
