McFarlane Toys Game of Thrones Drogon Deluxe Box, Black

Very good detailing and realism. I like the option of either flying using a rod support hook to the base or sitting on the ground ability. One thing I was concerned about is the articulation of the left wing. It doesn't move like the right wing does. Sort of crooked at an odd angle and if turned hard enough the wing and socket stem pops out. It didn't break just pops back in place. Cannot be too rough with the articulation of any of these dragons. I have the other two as well. Be gentle with them otherwise you will end up super-gluing the wings permanently in place.

Not sure why this little beauty is getting such negative press. I initially put Drogon on my wishlist after the finale. Having read all the negative reviews, I chose not to get it, but I forgot to remove him from my wishlist. Fast forward to Christmas 2020. My son saw it on my wishlist and ordered it as a Christmas gift for me. When I unwrapped my dragon, I was expecting the worst. Fortunately, my expectations were far exceeded. I love my dragon! He is an unexpected delight. Is he huge? No, but he's just the size I was hoping for (but which at least one reviewer lamented was too small). For my purposes, he's perfectly sized. Is he a wondrous work of art? Aren't all dragons? He looks just like Drogon, and I think Drogon is absolutely beautiful. I appreciate the detail, considering the scale. He doesn't topple over on his wire stand, and i want to display him in flight, so that worked out great, for me. To me, he looks majestic. The posing options are pretty basic, but that's what I expected for the price. He's for display purposes, so I don't expect to be moving him around a whole lot. If you loved the design and aesthetic of the GoT dragons, you'll appreciate and enjoy this very good rendition of Drogon. I'm exceedingly happy I forgot to take him off my list. And it goes to show.....not all reviewers have the same expectations. Give Drogon a chance. You may be pleasantly surprised, like I was!

1 star for the missing piece. Box was unopened but the fire breath accessory was missing upon arrival. Shame. Other than that its a great figure. Good details so still 5 stars even though I’m mad

So... this fig has taken a lot of hits due to the "odd" molding of it's left wing. The pulled back placement of the left wing is only a problem if you don't know what you are purchasing. Ultimately, this dragon is not an articulated figure, it's more like a stature with minor articulation. As for the wing molding and placement, I'm fairly sure this body placement is meant to represent Drogon as he is standing on the rock behind Daenerys after the attack on the Lannister loot procession in the Season Seven episode "Spoils Of War." The wing is pulled back as if he is about to rain down dragon fire on the captured Lannister troops. Knowing this, I had no hesitation in my purchase and am satisfied to have this as a display / conversation piece.

The viserion figure is in better quality than drogon. Drogon has a certain poor quality in his face painting. Also, the tail came a bit loosened, but nothing major, I could’ve asked to change but that would take longer to come the new one. Overall, 4 stars because of the face painting and the limitations on having the dragon in basically one position like the advertised pictures.

Smaller than I expected but as always this McFarlane dragon figure is nicely detailed. I was excited that The wings can move so you can make a different pose. Super neat and worth getting or any Game if Thrones or dragon fan.

IDK why people.are being so harsh. If you would of pre ordered earlier I got mine for 23 bucks . So all in all. I think it was worth it . It looks nice .I keep mine in package for far . Hanging on the wall . Looks really nice . I mean if you didn't open it . You can def make your money back on eBay.

First thing to know is that I am not an avid toy collector. With that said, my adoration for the GoT dragons meant that I had to get this. I'm not really that picky when it comes to quality. If you aren't either, you will be content with this. However, be warned that all the complaints are valid. The limbs keep popping off. The paint job isn't as nice as what is advertised. But regardless, it is still a lovely collectible! Probably the nicest looking Drogon product available. The wight Viserion was of absolutely exquisite quality, so I hope their later productions of Drogon match the quakity of their ad. Because of this difference in quality of product, I'm giving the benefit of doubt on the upcoming live Viserion and Rhaegal products to match the superb quality that wight Viserion was.

Really pleased, better than the picture shown, one little problem, when the dragon is on stand in flight mode, it's top heavy, but easily rectified by adding weight to the base
