Lots of features packed into a tiny box. Feels solid. It's great to have audio outs. Switching HDMI is still dodgy. I often lose the audio when switching, requiring a reset. This is NOT the fault of the box, but the HDMI protocol. The big problem for me is the placement of the ins and outs. The HDMI output is on the side of the box, which means you can't put it next to anything else, because the HDMI connector and cable stick out so far. Also you can't use a right angle HDMI connector to solve this because the power connector is right next to the HDMI, and will interfere. For me, a larger box with connectors on the back would be better, neater.

Works very well. I have only two HDMI inputs on my TV and I need a couple of more for some other peripherals. I cannot see any degradation of the picture of sound using this spliter.

Audio jack was a little tight. At first, I only produced buzzing sound, but then I figured out the 3.5mm cable was not inserted all the way in. Applied some pressure and it snapped right in. Item now works just as advertised. Perfect solution to have all my son's HDMI devices play through his soundbar. Would recommend this device to others.

I just tried to install this and it isn't working. I followed the instructions and everything seems to be working as expected, but as soon as I plug an HDMI cable into the output port, the LED indicator light for whatever input I'm trying to use starts blinking. If I take the input HDMI cable out and plug it into the TV it works perfectly fine, so it's not a problem with my cables. Once an output cable is plugged into the device, it does nothing. Unless someone from the supplier can help me fix this, it's worthless. And I don't believe there's even an option to return/switch with a new one. Stay away from this product.

Initially this device seemed like it would do everything I needed. Aside from some random image noise quirks that went away after I stopped moving things around everything seemed ok on both a mac mini and custom made PC. Unfortunately I noticed right away that there was rainbow coloration all over wherever there was text. This normally indicates an incorrect color setting and sure enough no matter what I tried the device would not put out RGB at 60hz. For computers this is a deal breaker especially since the need was for critical work. Everything else worked fine and the remote was extremely responsive so if it only allowed the Full RGB I would be buying a second for my other dual computer setup. Unfortunately the search continues.

Note: does NOT automatically switch to active input device as advertised. Automatically uses input 2 unless manually switched. Otherwise functions perfectly.

I bought this to extract the audio from the HDMI stream. I plugged in the audio jack, connected the HDMI ports. And... the audio was not extracted. Audio went from HDMI to HDMI. I tried all 3 settings Pass, 2.1, and 5.1. Nothing changed on any setting. It still went from HDMI to HDMI. There seems to be no reason to have the audio port, because it doesn't do anything.

I am not using the audio out but only the HDMI ports for switching several devices for display on my tv. Unitworlks great and has small footprint.
