Micca 10-Inch Natural View 1024x768 High Resolution Digital Photo Frame With 8GB Memory Card, Auto On/Off Timer, MP3 and Video Player (Black)

I like the skinny frame and that it doesn't have any matting to obstruct the pictures. I bought a 32GB compact flash drive to go with it (the max allowed). I bought it from Amazon for $4.99!!! PERFECT for the frame. I simply added pictures to the flash drive (870MB worth of pics) and then plugged it into the frame. NOTE: The manual says that for best results, you should resize your pics so they are not bigger than 1MB. It says that you will save more room on your flash drive and that it will work easier. I DID NOT DO THIS AND FOUND IT TO BE PERFECT!!!! ALL OF MY PICS WERE ABOUT 1.8MB AND IT WORKED PERFECTLY. If it didn't work perfectly, I would have returned it. That is too much work to downsize all the pics I put on it. Thankfully, I dont have to return it. I followed the directions for starting up the frame and it started working instantly. I did make some modifications to the settings which were not difficult to do. Default setting under PHOTO SETTINGS has each picture displayed for 15 seconds. I changed it to 5 sec. I would recommend leaving the fade in and outs as Random, since it is a very nice selection of fades. I changed the photo setting for the manner in which the pictures were displayed from the default setting of RANDOM to alpha/numeric. I then was able to chronologically display the photos. My pictures appeared faded at first. IN SETTINGS, I lowered the brightness down 2. I also lowered the CONTRAST and raised the HUE. I had to try different combinations to get the right colors but after a few changes, I got it where it was perfect for my pictures. This may sound like a lot of fiddling, but it isn't hard to do and well worth the time to get the right color, time and order to display. The remote control is very easy to use and very nice to have. I am very glad that I got the 10" frame rather than the 8" frame. It still fits nicely on a small end table. This is a great frame and well worth the money! .

If you really want to have your favorite pictures where you can see them everyday, you can't go wrong with this digital photo frame. I have down loaded my pictures from my Mac without a hitch. The feedback about digital frames made by other manufactures is frequently that you cannot down load from a Mac, that the pictures will not display properly and you should not buy their product. This Micca frame comes with with instructions in the manual to make make sure if you are using a Mac, you will be able to make the photo transfers successfully. I transferred over 400 photos to two separate storage devices (an SD card and a usb drive) without a single problem. There was literally no set up required on the device and as soon as I inserted the SD card it started to display me photos immediately. The transition from photo to photo is varied and very pleasing. Obviously the 1024X768 pixel count makes for extremely sharp and colorful photos. If you buy this frame, you can't go wrong.

This was a great gift for grandma!! She absolutely loves it. We have it set on a timer, so she never needs to worry about turning it off or on. Quality is very nice and the picture is clear. Easy to set up and use. The only downfall is that when put on a random loop, it repeats photos. For example, we will see the same photo on #4, #9 and #17, etc...

My wife bought this for me for Father's Day to replace my old one that broke several years ago. I still had the pictures on a card. I had forgotten how nice it is to have a digital picture frame! It performed wonderfully right out of the box, with no setup. After I set the time and date, the calendar function is nice. The menu is a little hard to navigate at first, because you really can't see which item is highlighted, and it is not intuitive how to exit the menu, but once I figured that out it was easy. This is a great value at the price, and I would recommend it. The only think I do NOT like, is that it doesn't appear to be able to mount on a wall. It has a base to sit on, so I need to put a shelf on the wall to hold it. - UPDATE! This think quit about a week ago. No picture at all. What a disappointment. Not even a year old.

After spending hours researching and comparing different models of digital picture frames within my budget, I decided to go with this product. Out of many reviews for many different brands, the reviews for this one are what sold me. They were mostly, if not all positive. I purchased it as a birthday present for my wife, loaded the 8gb memory card that is included with the frame and turned it on. It is a breeze to use and the picture is crisp and easy to see from any angle you would watch a tv from. So far it's a great product and to make it even better, I ordered it on a Friday evening around 6 pm with expected delivery date two days later, which was a Sunday. I assumed since is was to be deliver by the post office, I would see it on my porch Monday afternoonTo my surprise the package showed up at my doorstep 8am Sunday morning via USPS. That's some speedy shipping!

PROs I bought this product because it offers high resolution. This is important for me as I shoot photos in RAW and convert them to high resolution .JPG files. I really do not want to convert my files to low resolution so it will work on one of these devices (too much work). The image quality is great (many compliments from co-workers) Remote: Attached this to the frame via velcro. if you lose the remote it will be a PITA to use the frame (and may be impossible for some features). Clock: This feature is great. I set my frame to turn on/off based on my expected work hours. Memory: Being able to attach a large SD card is great CONs Randomizing algorithim: I want my pictures to be random, and this device offers that. The formula used to randomize the photos sucks. On my device are at least 900 photos and I have had many pictures repeat and some never ever show up. How bad has this gotten? Picture A shows up, then Picture B shows up, then Picture A shows up. As mentioned before, I know for a fact many pictures that have never shown up, while others have popped on my screen dozens of times. Overall, I recommend this product - but Micca needs to update their algorithim and release a firmware update. This would make the product one of the best I have seen.

I recently had to put my 12-year old dog to sleep and have been missing him terribly. I bought this digital picture frame to put on my nightstand so I can see my dog which has helped quite a bit. I like the smaller size frame for the nightstand, it fits perfectly. The picture quality is very, very good. The digital frame set up is incredibly easy, well done! The photos are displayed in a random order which is quite fun to see what is next. I am completely impressed by this digital photo frame and highly recommend for a smaller space. If have a larger space, I also definitely recommend the 15" version with the motion sensor which is a really cool feature too.

This is a very nice display. Great resolution and color. I bought this for my Inlaws for Christmas and loaded it with over 400 pictures. They love it. It's small enough to fit in even a crowded shelf or table. It came with a 8GB SD card which will hold thousands of pictures as well as music and videos the frame will use too. Very stable and not flimsy. Cord plugs in the back rather than the side so it's out of sight. So get your picture albums out and scan your treasured pics and get them out where everyone can see them on this beautiful frame.
