Works great to move hot charcoal around for my vision grill. Helps to move cold bricketts around to sweep ashes out of grill. Very sturdy, well made, good quality, should last for many years to come, and easy to store. Great price

Not that it really matters, but be aware the handle is of 2-piece construction. I personally couldn't hand tighten it enough to make it stay together, but my husband took care of that. ;-D If you can't get it tight enough, as long as you don't want to take it apart again, I suggest a drop or two of super glue. Otherwise, it is of sturdy construction and handles scraping ashes from my wood burning stove very well.

Awesome ash rake. Perfect size. Much bigger than the ones that have always come with my grills. Only problem is that it feels slightly cheap. It will bend easily and I don't expect it to last forever. But it's cheap and it works well.

This ash tool is great for folks using Kamado Joe or Big Green Egg grills. It has longer reach than the included ash tool from Kamado Joe, and has a larger working surface to move more charcoal at once. Would buy again, but this one seems like it’ll last for a long time!

Great gadget, woks fine but be alert. To protect the blade the manufacturer put on a thin piece of plastic front and back. I couldn't even see it but a corner popped up. I guess if you don't remove it and press the rake against hot charcoal the plastic might weld itself to the metal blades.

Poor threading, I just used this for the 1st the with my pizza oven and the handles would not stay tight. Loosened every time it was picked up and used in any direction. The rake end seemed o work well but that doesn't matter if the handles won't stay together tight enough to be used.

I use a pellet burner in a wood stove. Burned lots of fingers and knuckles trying to human auger/stir pellets to help burn more efficiently. This is wonder tool I use to push pellets around. Rubber handle and well made like an expensive golf club just shorter. Perfect for my pellet burner!

Not the most robust build quality, but after all, it is just a coal rake, not a gardening tool. A dab of loctite will keep the threads in place.

Awesome little scraper for our pizza oven, love the golf grip and it’s well made. Only thing for me because we have a Cobb Oven is I could use one a bit longer.

I bought this tool to move the coals forward in a wood burning insert and it does this OK. I also have been using it to scoop out the ashes from the front. For my application it would be nice if it was maybe 6 inches longer as I do feel the heat coming off the coals while raking them. That would probably make it too long to use as a scoop so I just need a tool I can use to scoop the ashes from the front edge of the fire box; same size head but with the handle attached on a short edge and a small lip on the long edges to hold the ashes.
