It didn't work for what I bought it for, but it works as it's supposed to. Mine mostly just sits in a box, though. I thought I could use this for something, and I couldn't. My fault. Great service and it arrived quickly.

Good optical cable length for connecting portable devices with digital output (Chromecast audio via toslink) to home audio system with digital input. With these devices it is usually not necessary to have a 3ft or 6ft cable that needs to be rolled up. In this regard the cable is perfect. What is NOT perfect is the fact that the 1/8" connector does not click in correctly. When this connector is inserted completely the data signal is lost. It was (is) necessary for me to install a small diameter o-ring to prevent full travel into my device. This allows the the optical data circuit to complete and in this case for music to stream. But it is not a snap in fit so I have no idea if the connection is optimal. It appears to work fine so I'll never know for certain.That said, I did order a second cable. We'll see if the next one is better

Works perfectly with my chromecast audio

Perfect for Chrome Audio. I bought two and they're just long enough to be practical without being in the way. They arrived much faster than estimated.

I requested it and got it. It was the same as I saw on Amazon. But I ordered the wrong thing, I needed Digital Audio on one end and 3.5 at the other. the problem was with me not reading what I was ordering.

Aspect solide, les prises tiennent bien, ça marche pour connecter mon pc portable coté micro spdif à ma chaîne audio coté spdif optique normalCoté pc, le jack est mixte sorties audio analogique et numérique.Mais le pc ne reconnait pas automatiquement le type de branchement, par défaut il reste analogique, il fallait configurer l'interface en numériqueC'était très mal documenté coté pc
