I have been ordering these walnuts now for some time as I am trying to increase my intake of Omega-3. I always buy the larger size, which sells out frequently. The larger bag has been unavailable several times. That should tell one something about the product! On two occasions that the larger bags were unavailable ( much more economical to buy the larger) I ordered different brands. I will not mention the names, but one was FULL of shells and other debris. The other LOOKED VERY NICE, but they tasted old and stale. I have learned my lesson. If unavailable, I will wait until they are! These are the BEST raw walnuts I have ever eaten! Fresh, no shells or debris, and it is a pleasure to grab a handful to munch! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND those brand. The best I have found! I hope they never go out of business. The others I ordered were $4-$5 less in price, but that is pointless if one cannot enjoy eating them. I am happy to pay $5 more - every penny is worth it! Nice to see a truly QUALITY product on Amazon, as many products from there are of inferior quality and a waste of money. **************************** ***UPDATE*** I have been ordering these walnuts now for months & they have ALWAYS been fresh & delicious - EXCEPT FOR THIS LAST BATCH! Stale, old tasting, inedible and BROKEN BADLY - as if one literally scraped the bottom of the barrel! DEEPLY DISAPPOINTED, but they did not go to complete waste - I gave them to the squirrels and birds. ******If I receive another batch like this, you will lose a customer!***** I have told several people how delicious these walnuts are - may have spoken too soon!

All the nuts I ordered the almonds, brazil nuts, and walnuts are delicious and taste fresh!

I can't speak for the taste or quality, but speaking for the squirrels, I bought them for. Chef's kiss. Packaged fresh and arrived quickly.

Excellent quality and freshness, but many were crushed to fine powder. Not sure if they're worth the higher price.

Not easy to find walnuts that are peanut free, and when making a dish going to a house where someone has a severe reaction to peanuts, these walnuts are my go to. They have a wonderful flavor. Hold up in a creamy salad, keeping their crunch even days later. I've bought them for a traditional dish three Thanksgivings in a row.

They taste fine. I do not know the quality of nutrition, but they taste fine. They are not bitter like I’ve had with other orders. These are good. I gave it four stars only because there’s a lot of small pieces. The price was good. I have a quarter cup every morning with my breakfast for the omega value.
