This light is extremely bright; it has two brightness modes which are useful. It seems robust and well made - I can believe the weatherproof rating although I have not tested it. It gives very wide coverage and the 6000 lumens offers sharp detailing. Avoid looking at it directly or you will be seeing the imprint of the LEDs for some while. Unfortunately, the first one I bought arrived without the screw required to attach it to the base, so I emailed the company directly asking them to send one out. Despite the card included in the box which announced that my feedback was very important, I received no reply at all, so clearly it wasn't that important to them. I had to return and re-order the light to obtain one with a screw which was both irritating and increased the carbon cost of the transaction unnecessarily. Amazon were good though, covering an increase in the price between the two orders. Perhaps the company were not set up to dispatch replacement parts but not to reply at all means that their promise was mere tokenism. It is a good work light though. Five stars for the light but one for the company.

With the nights drawing in I've been running out of time to finish my garage renovation. I'm boarding and painting out and want to get on with it, however needed something to help me carry on in the dark.There appears to be hundreds of options for these kinds of lights, and I honestly can't say why this one appealed, but it's doing a good job. The 2x brightness settings are useful, and the highest setting provides MORE than enough light to fill my 3m x 4m garage, lighting up every nook and cranny. The light quality is pretty cold white but that makes a good daylight quality.The cable could do with being a little long but any old extension cable fixes that. I've dropped a few things on the front glass (plastic?) and there's been no scratches or damage.The light is providing a good solution for me in a pretty rugged package...

I have used this in a workshop environment and for decorating when the power in the house has been off and at night to fix a car. There are two brightness settings but even the low one is very bright. The light is robust - during the work on the house it got knocked over fell off stands and got splattered with paint but never flinched. Its easy to set up at whatever angle you require. It is quite the best workshop type light I have ever owned. Very highly recommended.
