I was looking for something just like this to clean the space between my dogs front teeth. My dog is a 17lb Westie, and she is almost 6 and recently had to get her teeth cleaned by the vet so we are trying to keep them brushed. I did not realize how her front teeth were in bad shape with a space between the front two that collected junk.I tried dental floss which was impossible to get her to sit still for, but these are so tiny and work great. I looked at a lot of options and picked this because the tip looked so small. I included a photo of one in my hand so you can see how small it is. It's smaller than I imagined and it's perfect.The tip I just dip in her toothpaste and slide between her teeth. I can brush back and forth for a few times before she gets antsy and I stop.I know it's working because the first time I did it, it started bleeding....A lot! The next day it bled a little less and after a few days it stopped bleeding and that was the end of the bleeding.She had a dark area under the gums and that is starting to look more pink...and also the one tooth was kinda loose and seems to have firmed up.I think these are great because they do the job but are soft enough to not do any damage like similar bristle brushes would.This set was under $3 and even came with a little case to put a few in.I highly recommend these. Any other picks are are a mistake ! These are the best there are. No substitutes! Get the best and have the best!

The bristles were soft and were able to do a decent job. I used this in the front of my teeth. I don’t think it’s best for the molars

A lot of blather and poor illustration (use an actual tech writer and illustration requires skill and training especially where education is concerned… your friend, lover, or child ain’t gonna cut it… yes, you have to pay professionals to get this right).This thing UNLIKE DENTAL FLOSS goes IN and OUT; NOT UP AND DOWN. Of all the tons of explanations re using these things, nobody including the hygienists truly stated this that clearly. For those of us with CLOSELY SPACED TEETH, this is critical; the rest of you such a face does not matter as these things may have enough space between your teeth to go either direction but for those of us who really really need a thing like this because our teeth are very close together, keeping this crucial difference as to how to use this is ESSENTIAL!

I have tried numerous other Dental Picks over the years, but the GUM - 6323R Soft-Picks Original Dental Picks are my absolute favorite, for a number of reasons. I had purchased the GUM curved design pick but the aren't as effective as these straight ones that have a thinner diameter (these are a bit sturdier then the curved ones as well but soft so they don't hurt your gums like a lot of the other picks do). I do own some sturdier plastic picks that I only need use infrequently if food gets stuck, for everyday use these 6323R Soft picks are the absolute best (especially if you have sensitive teeth and gums and don't like using dental floss like I do not, I use these picks in conjunction with a Gum Tooth brush that has a rubber pick at end and also an Oral Water Irrigator that is battery powered..
