Sony STR-DA3700ES 7.2 Channel Networked A/V Receiver with Streaming Video and Audio

I purchased a DA3700ES receiver because I loved my DA3ES receiver and wanted the newest version after it died. The DA3700ES has great features and sound and an easy to use interface. The problem is the software is garbage. I have had numerous freezeups and studders in the picture going to the monitor and sound. Hopefully they can get this issues resolved, but for now I would recommend looking at the Pioneer Elite.

I bought this great receiver a year ago and love it! I have experienced absolutely no problems at all and really loved the easy set up for such a sophisticated receiver! I have yet to take advantage of it's 'smart' features since I already had a Roku box connected. That will change though. Also haven't taken advantage of the remote room option but nice to know it is there if I want it. This receiver will be the last one I will purchase (I think anyway) because there are just so many options yet to explore. I would recommend this receiver to anyone looking for a quality high end product which should keep them happy for years to come!

I've had many Sony Receivers over the years, I especially like this one, also have the STR DA1036ES model, I really like the small remote thats available also the Internet connections for other devices, I do like the older gui menue on the 1036 better.
