I was weary of buying jewel on Amazon but I have Prime and this had good reviews to I figured there was no real risk. I was not disappointed. The color and symmetry are great. I got these to go with a necklace I already had and they match perfectly. The red box these come in is of good quality. I would not be embarrassed by it if I were giving these as gift. The backs fit snuggly on the posts but I swapped out the backs anyway for ones with the clear plastic disc and little metal part. I found this type of back is more comfortable with weight of the pearls. Not that these are heavy. I don’t think the post if too short and would be fine for thicker earlobes. I am very happy with quality.

Excellent set of earrings. This is my second purchase from The Pearl Source, I bought my wife a pearl necklace a few months ago for her birthday and she loved it. The quality of the pearls are excellent in my opinion, they come in a nice little blue box so wrapping is an option but not particularly necessary. I know my wife would have preferred silver backs instead of the gold, but I think that's a minor issue. And maybe that was an option I overlooked when I made the purchase, I'm not sure. Although I can't say anything as to the durability of the earrings since we just got them, I can say that I am very pleased with the look and quality and will buy from The Pearl Source again. The color of the pearls are beautiful. The size I purchased was larger than I expected & wonderful. Also well manufactured. I loved them so much I went online and ordered a necklace. I also liked being able to go online and sign up for a 1 year warranty.

I loved the size and quality of the pearl. My only issue with the earring is the size of backing. It is small and tends to move to a vertical position and has slipped off of the earring. The size of the backing is also an issue with my arthritic fingers. Because I like them so much, I continue to wear them and try to make sure that they are on securely.

These pearls are stunning. They have a beautiful luster, are perfectly matched and are something that I will enjoy wearing for many years. They are everything you would want in an elegant pearl earring. I bought the 10-11 mm size and the size is perfect with my medium length hair. I highly recommend these.

My wife had some pearl stud earrings but they were small and she wanted an upgrade. These were much bigger and more lustrous and the price was much better than I could get in jewelry store. She was very happy and that makes me happy.

As expected-- which says a lot when you're a cautious consumer buying delicate jewelry online!Edited 8/5/16 While the pearls are perfect and rather large, the backing does not 'lock,' so my earring has fallen off my ear without me touching it. This is only my 3rd time wearing it, so it's not like I've worn off or stripped any locking mechanism. I don't think the stem and backing support the weight of the earring very well.

I received this 6-7 days ago and have worn them all day every day ever since. They are fabulous. I ordered the 10-11 MM and I am short (5'4") and they are just fine. I do not think that they are too big for everyday. They are packaged very nice with a beautiful box. However, I bought them for myself as a Christmas present. I love them.
