FlexiKold Neck Gel Cold Pack with Straps

I love this brand of ice packs, I have the large the XL and the shoulder. My original one was the Large I have had for 3 years, works wonders stays cold for back pain, flat so you can lay on it, no weird smells, the fit is okay for upper and middle back, does not reach shoulders very well but will work great for the back. The XL doesn’t get as cold, it takes longer to freeze in the freezer and loses it coldness faster than the large and shoulder however it reaches the most amount of areas, can cool my shoulders upper back and middle back when used sideways. Can also be used long ways for whole back relief which is amzing, this works well for rotating out ice packs constantly for pain relief and inflammation. It also numbs the areas well. The shoulder ice pack gets the shoulders and works well for that. does not reach any other areas besides the neck a bit. When I need shoulder pain relief only this is amazing and can be manipulated easily to fit many areas. Did not get the bands almost wish I did. I am thinking of buying bands because it would be nice bonus but didn’t want to spend the money. Easy to use. The shoulder ice pack is lighter than the others and easy to transport. It stays cold for an okay amount of time maybe 30 minutes tops.

I'm so glad I purchased these ice packs for after my hip surgery! I had hip labrum repair/FAI surgery and these were the absolute perfect ice packs for afterwards. I got a large, half size, and the neck wrap- all with straps. Straps are key!! I got the neck wrap one bc it was the perfect design to be able to go around the entire hip and groin area! It was absolute perfection and worked just the way I hoped it would!!! I also had a lot of pain on the top and side of my hip and thigh so I was able to place the large and half size packs exactly where I needed them as well! I posted pics so you can see how having the straps allowed me to place the packs all around my hip and leg so well! Bc they are lined it was great to be able to do my first 20 mins lined side down, take off for 20 mins (placed on a towel on the bed next to me- did not have to be placed back in the freezer), and then I turned them around and placed the non-lined side down on me for the next 20 mins and they were still very cold!!! They are super easy to use once you have them near you and they are definitely heavy duty and seem like they will last a long time. Cons: You WILL need to lay a towel down under any part that will be on your bed/couch etc, bc they do get frosty and eventually wet/sweaty on the outside during the first icing. And place a towel over the top of them if you put a blanket over you. They are heavy! I've been non weight bearing on crutches for the past few weeks so it makes it difficult for me to take them in/out of the freezer to the room myself, however, I did put them in a grocery bag to make it easier to get them in and out and to carry them with crutches. BUT it is not easy to carry the 3 packs with crutches, you have to be coordinated to do it, but it can be done. So there is that. I added pics so you can see how awesome they are to mold to you exactly how you need them. I would absolutely buy these again every time. I wish I had these before my surgery! I play hockey and these will for sure be used a lot in the future! The pros outweigh the cons and I highly recommend these!

I have used this everyday for a week and have found it to be extremely helpful and effective. It stays cool for 1.5 hours and is large enough to cover most of my neck and shoulders. The fabric is high quality. The gel can be distributed around the pack with your hands when the pack is room temperature. I do wish the front pieces weighed more to keep it from falling backwards.

First: NOTHING is as good as regular ice. That's why pro athletes use ice exclusively. (Watch the dugout during a baseball game.) A bag of ice will hold its temperature at 32 degrees F until all the ice melts, so you can ice for as long as you can stand it. OK? Gels--including this product--start to warm up as soon as they leave your freezer. All you can do is crank your freezer down to get a colder starting point. OK, with that out of the way, this is a great gel product. I bought the neck contour one, to be a third option among my three neck-icing gel products. This one is the beefiest by far, and it is heavy. I don't think a woman would want this on her neck. Because it is so beefy, it is pretty stiff coming out of the freezer. Like any gel product, it immediately begins to warm up and becomes more pliable as it does so. The biggest limitation is that there are no fasteners, and it is so heavy and (initially) stiff, you cannot successfully use this relying only on gravity to keep it where you need it. I use a clothes pin to hold it in place in front, with good success. The gel part wraps all the way around, so you can chill the full circumference of your neck, not just one part. I'd buy it again. As I said, I have three different neck-icing gel products and the FlexiCold holds its chill longest. I get a good 20-25 minutes of serious chill out of it, but you may have a better (colder) freezer than I do, which would give you a longer chill than I get.

Works great. I personally use on shoulders and neck. But could be used in other spots. Very flexible and remains cold for a good time

Excellent coverage and flexibility. It stays cold for a long time and wraps comfortably around the neck and shoulders. Great for soreness, headaches, or post-workout recovery. The material feels durable and doesn’t leak. A very practical and well-designed ice pack.

If you can migraines it's worth paying for one of these. Good quality. I wrap it over my shoulders, put it under my pillow and then flip the pillow to cool down my face when sleeping, lie on my front and put it on my back. Lots of uses. Stays cool for a long time.

its a good quality ice pack and good size, it just needs a strap on it so you can secure it so it doesnt slide off

Fits well and stays flexible, video shows straight from the freezer after a 12 hour freezing over night but it does need to defrost a little to contour properly and be comfortable.

Works great for me as a cold pack for my neck and back. I wish it had a strap to secure it in place while it's on your body otherwise I hold it in place with my hand while I am sitting down. I am very pleased with it otherwise. It is nice and big and covers a large area.
