This is very useful to reset your arduino board during project development without having to unplug the shield SOIC8 SMD pad section. This SOIC pad is located just on top of the USB connector section of the Arduino board to avoid having through hole pads that can expose soldered pads touching with the USB metal shielding on the Arduino board 2.54mm or 0.1" spaced soldering PADS to locate all the through hole components (resistors, capacitors, ICs, etc) you need for your project
