I bought this because I like to go on walks in the afternoon alone. But a couple weeks before getting this I was attacked by a large dog.*Normally I wouldn't go to this extreme*But this dog was oddly agressive &would NOT let me go. My backpack took most of the attack &I spent an hour trapped on top of a nearby concrete post that I was able to run to& climb onto. Unable to call help because it had ripped open my bag& my phone fell out. The dog stayed under the post the entire hour, until a car happened to drive by and saved me.I stopped going on walks completely afterwards. Then I decided to order this.I immediately tested it when it came in. Made sure it had a nice steady long spray& worked perfectly. Then convinced myself to go for a walk the next day. Sure enough AS SOON as I got to the street, theres the dog. The dog came after us (my husband came with me, i was scared to go alone) and we sprayed it. Then doused it when it didnt run, which I was shocked, but i dont think this dog is normal..if it were i wouldn't need this in the first place..but it also didnt chase us or come any closer. It just stayed where it was, growling and shaking it's head.I've had to use it on the dog once more since then.I would definitely recommend if you like walks but have aggressive animals in your area. It has a nice long steady stream and can be used more than once(I've used mine twice, but I had to use a lot both times and it is mostly gone now).vvv***BUT- also be aware that it DID NOT make the dog run off, so a more determined dog might have kept attacking.. or maybe this dog is just insane? I don't know. But it's worth keeping in mind.***

This stuff is the best, it will take out almost anyone. It's the hottest Pepper Gas out there. I have used mine on 3 different occasions, and believe me no matter how big they will go down hard. Plus after the WOW factor WOW factor wears off, while your watching whom you have sprayed with it, it will be awhile before thing get back to Normal for them Guaranteed, I purchased some for all of my Family, I feel better if they have this Fox 5.3 million heat units that more than any of the rest, Brutal.

I walk my dog, and needed something to ward off the aggressive dogs that want to attack my dog. This stuff will stop the most aggressive dogs, in their tracks. It's very accurate and sprays a nice stream up to 12 feet.

This did not fit my regular oc holder like saber red or defense technology dose

I work armed security and i had to deploy my pepperspray the other day on a guy that was high out of his mind raging. I deployed my pepperspray and within seconds the guy was on the ground holding his face crying ready to comply to instructions. He lost all will to fight. This stuff really works!!

I worked corrections for several years and was certified as a carrier and a officer to use this exact product. Part of the certification process is you have to understand how the effects of this product feels meaning you are required to be sprayed at point blank range and stand on your feet for 3 minutes. And trust me it's very hard to do. The only issues I have with the 2 or 3 oz bottles is the capacity. They pray out very quickly and you need to be very precise with your aim. I would not suggest the distance of spray on the add given to this product. It should be used only in close quarters to the attacker as the blowback can also affect your ability to retreat. I suggest if you own or use this product take a course or practice using it to train yourself on how to fight through the effects of this product because it can be done. And I saw a review about taking down a crackhead. I will say this from law enforcement experience most people strung out on crack or other heavy drugs this has hardly any affect on because there nervous system is already jacked up and they are usually the ones who easily fight through its affects the best.
