I was able to put this together on my own in about 45 mins. Not the typical thin board type desk. Sturdy. Looks good in my office.

I would buy this desk all over again. It is perfect.!! Easy to assemble! It is absolutely beautiful! I was hesitant about spending so much money on a desk, but I’m so glad I did!

I had been eyeing this desk for some time and I finally purchased it. I love it and couldn’t be happier. You do need a second person to help you with certain parts of the assembly. Putting the return onto the desk was challenging, but we got it done. It’s sturdy and has enough room for my two monitors and many other things. The shipper got it here much faster than expected. I’m very pleased overall.

This product has exceeded my expectations.The top and sides are 1.5" thick (tad ticker than most interior doors) and nicely laminated on both sides.The back is thinner (still plenty thick) because its mostly cosmetic and not load bearing.The top will not bow over the years with a heavy laser printer etc. sitting on it as some of our other thinner & low cost bookcases shelves have.I haven't yet assembled an IKEA product, but these instructions, step by step diagrams, each part having a matching number on it or on its part bag, and using just a screw driver and a small hammer, is how I imagined IKEA products would go together.Heck even the few blank instruction pages said "Blank Page" on them!All of the screw holes were pre-drilled and every hole/fastener/screw has a white plastic cap to cover it so it does look as uniformly white as in their photo. The screws and other hardware were all metal (a few wood dolls were provided to align sections for assembly).There are also cutouts for cables at the top of the back panel - nice touch.Bottom line - I was expecting a cheap design with parts missing/wrong or misaligned holes and a one page badly translated instruction diagram.I received just the opposite on all accounts - hence the 5 stars and I very seldom write reviews.

A desk without drawers?? Not sturdy.

Directions were not as easy midway through. This desk has a few ways that you can put it together depending on what you purchased. Meaning you can have a small to very large desk with this model depending on what version you bought but the directions are for all versions combined so it makes it tricky to figure out. Took some finessing to figure it out. Hope it lasts, it's a very thick and sturdy desk but the top layer seems questionable. So far so good we love it.

I’ve been going back and forth about purchasing the right desk for my home office for quite some time but this one was IT! I love the bow design on this desk because it creates a larger surface! I was able to put both monitors and keyboard on my desk comfortably! I would recommend it for sure!
