Anchor Shock - Double Shock - 20 Feet Boat Rope Anchor

Purchased for use with an inflatable catamaran tender. It serves a dual purpose of anchor bridle as well as tow bridle, helping to absorb the shocks as the boat traverses over wake and waves. It is well built and surprisingly durable.

I’m super happy. The hardware provided looks much better than the hardware in the picture. The stainless steel clip is super solid, and has a nice tight gate closure. The quality looks excellent so far. UPDATE: I’ve been using this as a bridal on my 26 foot power boat for a season. I use it primarily when anchoring overnight. The elastic does a great job dampening the boat’s movement. It takes all the pressure off the windlass, foredeck, and bow roller. I think it’s preventing a ton of wear and tear. When I use it, the elastic decreases pull on the anchor chain. I think that decreases the likelihood that the anchor will slip. All in all, a worthwhile piece of hardware for people who want to have some more peace of mind while at anchor.

I used this at lake Powell to anchor the bacK of my boat to the shore while I used another achor for the bow. This rope worked great and helped stabilize the rear of my boat. Perfect.

Hooks onto cleats and stabilizes beached pontoon. Easy to use with a hammer anchor.

Works ok, but loops are too small to properly attach to cleats.

I like products that solve problems. So many times, people design things that creates more issues than it solves, or tries to solve a problem you don't even have. The Anchor Shock solves the perpetual problem of anchoring a boat that does not have a bow cleat. It is a simple, straight-forward bridle that allows you to tie off your anchor rode from your two bow cleats. It appears to be reasonably well constructed. So far, I have not used it a ton of times, but the few times I have, it works completely as advertised. Great product!

Fast delivery, I used it on my boat and held it to the shore perfectly even in the wind. I also use it to hold both of my jet skis to the same sand spike and work out great.

Should provide enough anchor tension for my 25' sport deck while allowing it to move around a bit during wave and wake action.
