On inserting a test strip in my onetouch glucometer i see a low/empty battery sign on the screen. does this mean that it has low battery?

Has this meter been used for a long time. If yes the battery may have drained. Pl. Change the battery for consistent readings.

What about the manufacturing date and expiry date of the meter

Manufacturing date 04/05/2019 and Expiry date 08/05/2021
