Asparagus Extract 60 Veggie Caps

It is important to keep the body alkaline (not the blood, that remains constant) if you are fighting illness and especially cancer. Anyway, on there, one of the many protocols in the "Dirt Cheap" listings was asparagus. My oncologist is graciously allowing me to skip chemo and radiation, and still follow me, after surgery for Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. Surgery didn't remove all and I refused subsequent surgery plus the radical, damaging stuff. It is 2 year later and he says my blood work is "perfect" :) Anyway, my first time there, I was waiting in the line at the cashier afterward and spoke w a woman near me; she asked me if my oncologist were prescribing asparagus! Said hers told her to cook and puree it and eat 4 TBsp of the puree, twice a day. And I remembered reading it on cancrtutor. Asparagus is Highly Alkaline-forming in the body. It also aids in purification of the urinary tract, and is diuretic. This particular asparagus supplement also contains the root or rhizome; I have been using it for 2 years (along w a lot of other stuff) and I am doing well. This is a subjective review, and I am not a medical professional; but I am happy to be able to get this product, and will continue using it.

I don't know if this works against infection, but against bladder irritation it's a good tool, especially if youre sensitive to the effects of Advil, this is decent alternative. I think this product, if used carefully, switching off with two or three other bladder soothing products, might be a help for some people. I don't know if this alone would cure/treat bladder cystitis, but it's a 6/7 out of 10 help. Even right away. I think people should try to avoid irritating foods/drinks for at least a week or two if using this as the directions state. For some people, use another gentle product in addition to this, but not at the same exact time of taking this, and not if youre using this more than once a day, could help more. Might be dangerous though if you combine products at same time to be clear., yet this probably is going to be a help if used as directed, or sparingly but moderately used with another bladder soothing type product at a different time of day. I will likely buy this again. Even if I ended up not needing it. I think its a good product to support.

I accidentally discovered that asparagus helped my bladder issues, so I wondered if anyone made an asparagus supplement. YES! Swanson makes an excellent product, and it has been very helpful to me. Yes, I am an older woman, but this might help those suffering from IC (interstitial cystitis).

I take asparagus extract to flush and detox my kidneys. I am 65 years old and every time I get a CT scan the nurse always says I have the kidneys of a teenager! Being a current soon to be former cancer patient this is music to my ears.
