Q: it has been recommended for my dogs lip sore. which should i use?

I can't help you in relation to a dog, but it is wonderful for diaper rash on my grandchildren. It worked wonders on them when other diaper creams didn't seem to help.

Q: Is this safe to put on my dogs lips?

I would not. . Check with your vet if you need something for their lips. I use it because I am constantly washing my hands and it helps a lot with the chapping. However, I have dogs and cats so they do lick my hands occasionally, but I would not use it as a treatment for my animals.

Yes it is from Germany and it works great for diaper rash on babyies
