Deep blue has a very light cleans scent to it. I just love it and I’ve been using it for years.

Is this product made in China?

No I am pretty sure it is made in Israel. Dead Sea water is used in products. Amazing serums & creams. Hope this helped!

The tube my son got at a mall kiosk years ago says Made in Israel?

Yes, some, but not all of the products are. My first purchase of Dead Sea products was from a kiosk at a mall, also. Very pricey, but I fell in love with them. Since then, I have not found the exact same scrub, but have found the lotions and creams on Amazon.
