Algae Light for Aquarium
Helps clean up the algae in the tank. If you have a fair share of algae use chemicals too when you use the light.

Clears water fast!
I have a 20 gallon planted tank with a couple danios, tetras and a dwarf pleco. The fish have always been a joy and I love seeing the plants grow over time, however I have ALWAYS had an issue with green algae/green water. I have tried almost everything to the point I was doing full water changes so the water would be clear for about 2 weeks just to empty it all again. Then I did some more research and found this light. I have an enclosed sump system in the back so my fish do not come into direct contact with the light, but the pictures are from Wednesday adding the light, to Friday two days later, and then Thursday the next week. In one week the water has completely changed. I can finally see the back of my tank and my fish can navigate their home. Very pleased with this light. Make sure you get the right size for your tank (I needed the smaller one) and place it where your fish can’t directly see it, and be alittle patient because day 1 looked like nothing happened. So worth it and a great purchase because green water sucks

Electrical stock if you see water inside the uv light tube, be cautious.
Bought three pieces. One piece is defected, water got into the tube and surprisingly, the light is working but light electrical stocked me when I put my hand in the water. Be cautious, when you guys see water inside the light tube. Turn off and remove it. My fishes still survive, they just feel very uncomfortable. Manufacture should work on sealant if the uv lamp. Otherwise, good product with great price.

Don't Last!
1 star because it died faster than my goldfish’s appetite. The JackSuper 7W Aquarium Water Green Clean Lamp promised clear water and algae bloom control but after two days the light flickered like a dying firefly and then went out completely. I followed the waterproof claim but the cord got soggy and shorted, so now my tank looks like a dark cave. The only thing it cleared was my patience. Not worth the money unless you enjoy night time aquarium raves that end in darkness.

This Really Works!
My 18 year old daughter experienced an algae bloom in her saltwater tank. Literally couldn't see through the green hazy water. While we knew it wasn't terribly dangerous for the fish, it was certainly unsightly. We did oxygen treatment, water treatment, and nothing really worked. Finally, we bought this rOXIN lamp. You can tell by the before and after pictures above that this light really works! In just three days of light, the tank was clear. Please, before you use this product, read the "do's and don'ts". Its vitally important to the health of your fish not to put this light directly in the tank and leave it on for long periods of time. It is a UV light, so keep that in mind. We have an in-tank sump system, so we positioned the light inside one of the protective chambers where the water filters. If you have this, you can safely leave this light turned on for days at a time, which will quickly clean your algae bloom. It takes about 2 to 3 days, then turn the light on and the water should be clear. Easy, cheap solution!

They work and cheap.
I ordered 5 of these guys and put 3 in my overflow boxes on my shark and ray tank. I had a slight algae bloom clouding up my water slightly and these guys took care it in about 3 days it is. It is now crysta clear again. One star off cause one of the lights I ordered kept sparking when plugged in and something was rattling in the power box. But all others seem fine. Cheap lights but they do work.

Life Saver For Our Swamp Cooler
We are using this light on our swamp cooler. We live in a high desert area where the air is quite dry. We use a swamp cooler instead of refrigerated air to cool our house because refrigerator units dry the air even more than it naturally is, thereby hurting my sinuses. When our city switched from using aquifer water to river water we started having a problem with the swamp cooler pads growing algae. It made our house smell like stinky fish, ewe. While visiting my brother my husband noticed this light in connection with his fish tank. A light bulb went on ( no pun intended) and he thought of the possibility of using it on our swamp cooler. He set it up on a timer to come on automatically 6 times a day. To our delight it works perfectly, problem solved, wahoo!! He even called the swamp cooler manufacturer (Breeze Air) and suggested they incorporate it into their design. He just knew we couldn’t be the only ones having this problem. The unit lasted for one season. We just bought two more to keep on reserve in case one should stop working. I highly recommend it.

No question that this UV light clears greenish murky water
I've owned numerous fish tanks and totally understand that they'll cycle at some point wherein the water becomes cloudy (white/grey) for a few days then clears. So I don't know what happened in my 75-gallon but 6 months into an already cycled happily stocked tank (20 fish, live plants, etc.) it went murky green literally overnight. Cutting back feeds, reducing light a couple hours, water changes.. nothing dented the murk. Clearly some sort of algal bloom plus bacteria, not sure. Probably arrived when a couple new fish were added from the local pet store.. IN any event, I came across the idea of UV sterilization on a Reddit thread. I bought this item from rOXIN in it's smallest size (7W). What you have here is a UV glass tube inside a second waterproofed glass tube. There is ample length of power cord with an inline power on/off switch. What's nice is that the 7W tube fits almost perfectly into the backside chambers of my Whisper 60 external filter, the power cord snakes out under the filter's hood, and there is zero UV light leakage into the tank or room, plus excellent water flow over and around the UV element. It works! I may come back and post a few pictures, and it took several days, but no question at all that the UV treatment (running 24/7) began to cut the murky green water with excellent water clarity results within 5 days, again...when nothing else that I had done (see above) dented the murk. If you've got a murky tank that won't clear, give this UV sterilizer a try.
