Carhartt Men's Big & Tall Hubbard Plaid Long Sleeve Shirt Heavyweight Flannel Original Fit

I'm not going to complain about this shirt being oversized I believe it was a bit larger then I expected but I like it typically carhartt quality with triple stitched seams and buttons that feel like they nailed them down ( I'm not joking these buttons will not fall off nothing short of cutting them off will remove them) I had previously bought a carhartt shirt and I'm still using it for the last 4 years ago I think this one is different but not in a bad way I personally like to wear them as light jackets in spring and a base layer under winter coats they are made to work and they will last ( few things are made like this anymore) I'm shocked to see these on close out and I would recommend you jump on this deal while you can honestly these shirts are far better then any cheaper one your going to find and if you had a rothco shrink on you these don't ( although I would suggest cold water washing to prevent shrinking) keep in mind the cold water washing ( possibly why my last one although fraying is still hanging in there) and this shirt will last you and they will work If you need them to

I first would like to say that for my 6'2" 230# frame , it's very hard to find correct fitting long sleeve flannel shirts- ANY PLACE!- Amazon is the only Carhartt distributor (other than high priced sporting supply stores) that carry large tall sizes, I live 75+ miles from ANY store that sells High Quality clothing such as Carhartt, the return policy is the best of all retail stores- this shirt is the very best in fit, quality material, quality craftsmanship. I live so far in the backwoods that we get mail 3x's a week, running the family ranch with my 78 year young mother, requires hard working clothing and tough as nails people- A Big Thanks to Carhartt for still holding to the High Standards that served me for 30+ years offshore all over the globe, it matters not where the clothing is stitched together, as long as "High Quality" is the outcome , it still is by Carhartt. Thanks also to Amazon for the fast shipping, no questions return policy- most importantly- the price of such a high quality product (Give their flannel or quilted lined, double faced H.D. This is a really nice flannel - but be aware that it will shrink - a LOT - from the dryer (even on low heat and not over-drying), so you may want to line dry it. It comes long enough in the sleeves and length for a tall - but after drying in the dryer, it's length is the same as a "regular".

My arms are about 3'. The 3xl gives me plenty of sleeve length and room to move. Material is thicker, love that. Seams are triple stitch. I bought this primarily for work in my foreman office, controlling the temp is a pain. My duct feeds me and a welders room, I warm it up and burn them up. This was well worth the money to keep other people happy.

I love the shirt, it has a almost canvas like feel when new. I washed it before its first wearing and it did soften up a bit but zero change in size. I washed with cold water, all free/clear and dried on low heat. It is a touch longer than my other tall shirts but nothing that makes a difference one way or the other, the shirt stays below my waist and allows movement.

My husband is tall and an extra large, but not a wide extra large... he just has long arms. so, a Tall mans xl is perfect, except often (as with this shirt) extra also means wide. He's not wide. It's otherwise, a soft flannel nice shirt.

There was nothing wrong with the shirt, but I did have to return it because it was too large. Iam pleased that this marketplace will accept returns after 30 days

This shirt is well made with heavy flannel. It's a great fit for me. I use it mostly as an over-shirt or light jacket. I also like the pattern.I'm happy with this purchase.
