Very nice quality bag that I can store flat in the off season.

I've got nothing negative to say about this bean bag. The material is stout, the workmanship is strong. When you add the filling of your choice--I used sunflower seeds--it provides a firm, steady base. It's great to use when shooting from your car, either from inside by draping it over your open window, or outside, resting it on the hood or roof of your vehicle. When full, depending on your filling, it can be heavy, so I don't think it would be great to hike with it full. I'm guessing it held about 4 or 5 pounds of sunflower seeds. For a beach shoot, you might want to carry it empty, then fill it with sand on site. And in that case, I'd likely line it with a small kitchen trash bag. Recommended.

It’s functional and durable, if your using sand you have to tape iffy he zipper because it’s just open enough to let fine sand out. All in all a good purchase

Works well for light use, but seams give out and tear.

I like it has thick hide and tough zipper just wish the zipper was located on top side for easy filling. As for filling I bought the Styrofoam balls and regret it because once you get them in they pop and fly right out so I used the large striped sunflower seeds much better as fill now it’s perfect. I would recommend it’s high quality tough. I am going to try it our but think I need to fill it up a lil more with seed, Navy beans would also be a great filler and much less mess..

Only used it a couple of times, but the best test was at Bosque Del Apache, using my car as a blind. Even with a 2x extender on a Canon EF600 f/4 Mk III lens it was completely easy to use on birds at a distance. I'll admit my shutter speed was pretty high, though. I filled my with husks found here on Amazon so it's light, doesn't leak sand, and is easy to pop up on the window at a moment's notice. As you may have read elsewhere, leaving the window up a couple of inches makes it much easier to balance.

I use this exclusively in the driver's window of my car. All my nature and wildlife photography is done from the car, so I can't comment on it's use anywhere else (such as carrying it on foot). It really adds remarkable stability. I use a Nikon 200-500 f5.6 VR lens, and everything works perfectly. I can sometimes even drive along at 5-15 mph in the parks or refuges with the lens+camera resting on the beanbag (holding it secure with one hand, of course). I discovered a key adjustment, which is to leave the window raised by about 1.5" to create the ideal "wedge," along with the door thickness, to fit snugly up between the bag's "legs." A bean bag can't be called rock solid, but it's close. I filled mine (a Large model) with black oil sunflower seeds for best size/weight; I used about 2/3 of a 10-lb bag, so it weights around 7 lbs filled. I did not stuff it completely tight so that there was a bit of looseness for creating the top saddle shape for the lens. I keep the tripod collar on the lens in a 9 or 3 o'clock position. I am very happy with it.

I filled the Bean Bag with the about 10 lbs. of dry beans. The canvas of the Bag and the handle appear to be sturdy. The Bag can be used either as a low support for a camera or as a weight to secure tripods or light stands. So far the only con is that there is only a single zipper to secure the filling, when some bags have an inner and outer zipper for safety.
