This is a food grade silicone grease. I bought it to service my old stand mixer. I also used it to service my water softener. O-rings in the softener need food grade grease.

perfect to lube plastics because it wont swell or deteriorate it. i used it to lube the rubber tracks on my car windows now they slide nicely. only downside is the can is only half full
