Love them...but Wrinkly
I bought this towel and another from Dandelion Textiles to use as beach towels for my daughter and myself. When I opened the box, I thought there was only one towel in there, they are so thin! They do recommend you wash and iron these towels before use, which I did. I was skeptacle of how much these would absorb and so decided to try it at home before heading to the beach. The towel was super absorbent and soft, although I did NOT use it on my hair (I was worried it would be soaked after that!). We have since taken them to the beach and they are perfect! They hardly take up any space in my bag, yet are large enough to lay out on and I'm 5'10". They are quite absorbent but also dry fairly quickly. I laid on my towel for a while after going in the water. When I was too hot from being in the sun, I wrapped the damp towel around like a shawl and it was nice and cool and shielded me from the sun. ONE NOTE: These towels get pretty wrinkly! You can iron them, but who wants to do that everytime you wash your towels? It's fine for the beach but it would drive me crazy for household use.UPDATE: After using/washing these several times, the fabric seems to have relaxed a bit. When they come out of the dryer now, they are mostly wrinkle free, except at the edges. LOVE THESE! Ready to buy more!

4 years later still a great towel
After four years of use this towel is still going strong. It gets used as a bath towel, pool, & beach towel. I think it is still getting more soft over time. It's very absorbant, but in cold rooms or winter by the pool (outdoor pool in California, so not really all that cold) I want something thicker to wrap up in. That said, these Dandelion towels are a bit thicker than most of my other Turkish towels. I am including pics, trying to get a reference for the color, since I found it difficult to see when I was purchasing (the towel is more of a reddish orange than I had realized back then). Apologies for the vulture head, it was a nice orange color and handy. This one felt rougher initially than the Ocean Blue one I purchased at the same time, but softened up nicely (tho this one took a bit longer), and it has less snags and pulled threads than the blue towel (which is still a solid towel that I love).

the BEST beach towel
I've always lived by the beach and this is my favorite towel to lay out on. I had never even heard of these "Turkish bath towels" before browsing Amazon for beach towels; I was worried they would be too thin but I'm glad I gave this a try. This towel is just the right thickness and softness of something I want to lay on ~every day. It's super spacious for one person lying down, but you could fit three people sitting on it (or two and a picnic!). It's not too big though, so it still looks like a proper towel and not like a bedsheet, tapestry or something that looks weird on the beach. I like the look of the mostly white towels, but I love this grey one. The "black" towel is really grey with white stripes, but that's what I was expecting/hoping for. I was afraid the white ones would get way too dirty, as I plan to mostly lay them on the ground. The grey one is just perfect, and the weaving is beautiful. I love the tassles and everything about it!! It folds up so smalls that it takes up hardly any room in a beach bag or hiking backpack.

Awesome towels
I purchased 2 of these awesome towels. One in the ocean blue and one in turquoise. I washed both of them in warm water using Woolite and a mesh laundry bag..I washed each one separate in the bag but in the same washer load. It worked perfect. I dried them out of the bags on medium low heat for about 20 minutes then ironed them. I used them and found they were shedding so I washed them again as above with no ironing the 2nd time and the shedding stopped. I wasn't sure if I was going to like these towels since it's all new to me but I love them. I will order more to have on the boat and for guests to use. The packaging was very cute too. :)

Eh
I tried to use it as a bath towel, but did not find that it absorbed the water off of me/dried me or my hair very well. I also don't find it to be very soft, but perhaps my expectations were too high from reading other reviews about how soft it was (also, I've only washed it like 4 times so maybe that's why?). So, now I just use it to sit on grass and will try it out as a beach towel soon, although it is a bit small and thin for that purpose (in my opinion). It's a bit expensive for me to recommend to someone to get just to try it out and it probably works best for those in hot, humid climates but it's definitely cute and trendy.I got the jean blue color and found it to be true to the color in the photo. I would definitely recommend the color, it's beautiful!

Extraordinary Towel by Dandelion Textile!
I am so in love with this towel by DandelionTextile! Firstly, when it arrived, I felt like I was receiving a special gift. The packaging was so extraordinary. Then I was immediately thrilled with the feel and look. The color is the perfect summery orange and the towel was wonderfully soft. I have used it to line a chaise lounge by the pool, to towel off after a swim and even as a wrap/sarong. I ALWAYS get compliments. I even purchased 2 other color towels for my kids (I wasn't wiling to give up my towel to them) and am planning on purchasing more to give as gifts! I highly recommend this beautiful product by Dandelion Textile!

Great towels
I bought these in 4 different colors for travel and they are worth every penny! On airplanes, I use them as blankets for the kids, and at our destinations, I use them as beach towels (double duty!). They beat lugging hotel towels to beaches (they are much lighter and more compact), and they are much easier to bring back when wet. I have washed them, and they will get a little wrinkled on the edges from washing and you may want to iron them if you are picky. I am not, so it doesn't bother me at all. The colors are bright and have remained so even after 1 year.
