Not really needed and necessary. Fits ok and looks good, but it doesn't snap on tight like the other accessories.

I thought I was buying a saddle-type charger that accepts two controllers which ride on the charging station (like riding a horse).Somewhere along the line I ended up looking at & buying this pos.I could have bought 2 leads that do the same job for quarter the price.
