G35 Coupe 03' - 07' Motordyne 5/16 Iso Thermal Plenum Spacer

Install was really easy. I did it in conjunction with a Takeda CAI. Total time for the install including installing the intake gasket below the lower plenum half was just about an hour. The included directions were easy to follow and logical. Once installed it definitely work up my '06 G35 quite a bit. Again, at the same time I did a cold air intake so the intake noise was quite a bit more pronounced. The performance is definitely there, you really feel it make a difference when the engine gets up past 3k and pulls better through the entire rev range instead of falling flat at higher rpm like it used to. Sadly I didn't get a chance to compare real horsepower gains on a dyno, but the butt dyno and smiles per gallon easily justify it. And even with more performance I saw a very slight increase in MPG which I attribute to the better flow characteristics.

I installed a JWT pop charger and a Z tube on my 03 G and took it for a spin. The difference was notable, but, not really anything to get excited about. I noticed a bit more engine noise and that high pitch suck sound when you tap the throttle.Now....... after the above were installed, I installed the plenum spacer with throttle body coolant shut off valve and took her out for a test>Almost twice the improvement than just the air and tube alone. The engine sounds super 'throaty', exhaust is a bit more noticeable with a deeper tone.Overall, super satisfied with how it made my G sound. Not too loud, just right.As far as the install. Take your time, follow the directions, watch a youtube video if you get lost. Make sure you have a torque wrench for in-lbs.

It did add a little more gain when I did a dyno run..Though, are they worth it? Ehhh.. If you are trying to bolt on every performance gain on your car to stay N/A, then yes.If this is your only mod? Probably not... theres gains, not much

Easy to install, had all the pieces. Definately make sure you read ALL INSTRUCTIONS and have ALL TOOLS described in instructions prior to any installation for sure. Doing that will save you two days of installing versus two hours. It added a great sound to my G, definitely gained more torque and overall feels better driving.

This is a great kit for anyone looking to get a little bump in HP and MPG. It installs very easily with the provided instructions.

little bit pricey but it's worth it you get a full instruction manual and the quality of everything is awesome
